An hour has passed. Bec is now having breakfast with Fly, before going to work.
Fly: You look tired.
Bec: Surprise surprise, I am. I woke up in a weird way. I guess it must have messed with my rem cycles... By the way, you will not believe who called me this morning.
Fly: Please tell me it's not my ex-husband.
Bec: No, but it's your ex-boyfriend.
Fly: Huh?
Bec: Heath.
Fly: ... Heath called you? What does he want?
Bec: I have no idea. But I'm meeting him this afternoon.
Fly: For what?
Bec: Like I said, no idea.
Fly: So he just calls you, after 20 years, and you have to meet up with him? And doesn't even give you a bit of context?
Bec: Apparently, yeah. He said it was really important.
Fly: Wow. I come back to Blue Water Beach, and suddenly there's other stuff from our past coming back.
Bec: You're the ultimate throwback Thursday, Fly.
Fly: I guess I am... Just please don't tell him I'm in town.
Bec: Why? It's been 20 years since whatever happened between you two. I don't even remember correctly.
Fly: Just don't tell him, please.
Bec: Fine. He won't hear it from me.
