It's now late afternoon, December 8th. The party is about to start. Fly, Heath and Bec have decorated the Solar Blue house, and are now waiting for the guests to start showing up.
Bec: Okay, we have food, drinks, decorations, and some disco balls. We're not forgetting anything, are we?
Fly: ... Music.
Bec: Uh oh. I forgot to prepare a playlist.
Heath: I got you covered.
[Heath turns on the speakers, and they start blasting "You Stand Accused Young Man" by The City Lights]
Heath: Now it's a party.
[They hear a knock on the door]
Heath: I'll get it. It's probably Edge.
[He opens the door, and it's Edge indeed]
Edge: Woooow. I legit thought this idea was gonna flop.
Fly: Edge!
Bec: Oh my God! Come on in!
[Edge comes in, and hugs Bec and Fly]
Edge: Long time no see, ladies. Glad to see you two looking well.
Fly: We could have seen each other a lot more often, had you stayed in the pro circuit.
Edge: Yeah nah, that wasn't the life for me, and you know why.
Bec: You're looking sharp. What you up to, these days?
Edge: Well, I now run Heath's magazine, thanks to all of this.
Heath: And you are welcome, mate.
Edge: Nah. If anyone's welcome, it's you. I'm doin' a way better job.
Heath: (chuckles) In your dreams, eh?
Edge: So, where's the rest of the people? Don't tell me I was the first to get here.
Fly: You were.
Edge: Argh. I was trying so hard to be late, and do a cool entrance.
[They hear another knock on the door]
Fly: I'll get that.
[Fly opens the door, and it's Matt and Perri]
Fly: Oh my God! Matt and Perri!
Matt: Yep. We're back.
Perri: Wouldn't miss it for the world.
[They come in, and all 6 of them engage in a group hug]
Matt: Gee, we haven't been together in over 20 years. All 6 of us.
Perri: Yeah. And I love what you guys did with the decorations. This place looks so awesome.
Bec: That was mostly me. And by the way, I brought a karaoke machine just for you.
Perri: I knew you'd do that. Thanks.
Matt: So, Solar Blue is back, huh? Awesome.
Edge: Heath says he got a visit from Simmo as an angel, and gave him the idea.
Matt: (laughs) That is the most Heath thing I've ever heard.
Perri: It looks like none of you changed much.
Fly: Yeah. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Bec: (her phone rings) Excuse me, for a minute.
[Bec leaves for a bit]
Matt: This must have been a pain to get ready, with the paperwork and all.
Heath: Oh, it was, for sure. But we jumped into it head first, and dealt with the complications. And now we're here, one month later.
Matt: Cool.
Perri: I might just let my daughter join the academy, when she's old enough.
Fly: Just don't expect favouritism from the coach.
Perri: She doesn't need that.
[Bec comes back, while videochatting Anna and Joe]
Bec: Hey guys, say hello to Anna and Joe (puts everyone on camera).
Anna: Hiii!
Matt: Hey Anna!
Perri: (waves) HI.
Fly: Or as you guys say over there, Hallo.
Anna: I'm glad to see you all looking so good.
Joe: What is this? A Solar Blue reunion?
Heath: Kind of.
Edge: By the way, that beard is impressive, Joe.
Joe: Thanks, mate. Took me 3 years, and a lot of testosterone pills to grow it.
Anna: He's joking. About the pills, that is.
Joe: Yeah. And it actually me took 4 years.
