Heath told her about his idea, and they've been talking about it. Right now, they're at the Solar Blue house, which still looks the same as it did, during the academy days, and is pretty well-maintained.

Heath: See? This is perfect. You even own the house.

Bec: Yeah. I bought it shortly after Solar Blue closed, and I got fired. Still use it sometimes, when I need a break. But don't tell my family.

Heath: No worries... So, you onboard, or what?

Bec: I... I don't know, Heath. This just seems a bit too spontaneous.

Heath: What do you mean?

Bec: You had a dream with Simmo, and suddenly you wanna recreate Solar Blue. If you had a dream, where an angel version of Simmo came from heaven, and told you to jump off a bridge, would you?

Heath: This is quite different. That would be insane. This is also insane, but good insane.

Bec:It's a lot of work, that's what it is. And you haven't given this much thought. Can you even use the Solar Blue name?

Heath: A-ha. I knew you would ask that. Last night I did some research, and we can use the name. The Solar Blue trademark has not been valid for 18 years, so we're legally allowed to file a new one with the same name.

Bec: Oh. Okay. So you've done your homework. Which is a first... But still, look at the amount of money we're gonna spend.

Heath: I know, Bec. The licensing fees are expensive.

Bec: It's not just the licenses and the trademark, Heath. You're gonna have to pay for maintenance of the house, all kinds of equipment, a surfing instructor, judges, competition fees, and two freaking spots on the pro circuit every year. It's a nightmare.

Heath: So what? It's an investment, like any other. You're a businesswoman, Bec. You certainly know how much we can make from this.

Bec: It's a gamble, Heath. You're gonna need a lot of money.

Heath: Maybe I'll just get a small loan of a million dollars (chuckles).

Bec: This is serious, Heath! I swear, it feels like you haven't changed for the past 20 years. And I've only been with you for a bit.

Heath: ... I have changed. A lot. I've accomplished a lot of things these past 2 decades. I'm the owner of a successful magazine, Bec. And creating it was also a spontaneous decision.

Bec: You might not be so lucky this time.

Heath: Maybe it's not about luck. Look, you can come with me to Melbourne if you want, and you'll see how I run things over there... Hell, don't take my word for it. Ask Edge, when he comes back from Tahiti. He'll give you a tour of the headquarters.

Bec: ... You work with Edge?

Heath: Yeah, technically I'm his boss. He's in Tahiti now, covering an event for the magazine.

Bec: Wow. Impressive.

Heath: I know, right? Then imagine what I could get done here. I could turn Solar Blue into something even more amazing than it was in the past.

Bec: I don't know, Heath.

Heath: Bec, I'm offering you a chance to be a part of this. But if you don't want to, that's fine. Just sell me this property, and I'll take care of the rest with loans.

Bec: Just give me some time to think about it, alright? This isn't a decision that can be made just like that.

Heath: Fine. I understand that. Take as much time as you need.

[Heath begins walking away]

Bec: Where are you going?

Heath: I'll go for a surf. You can come, if you want.

[Bec follows him outside]

Bec: Do you even have a board?

Heath: Aren't there boards in the garage?

Bec: No.

Heath: Well, then I'm gonna go find one. (looks around the beach) Maybe someone left a board somewhere, for us. All it takes is a bit of... (spots Fly in the distance, surfing) Luck.

Bec: Oh, no.

Heath: It's funny... You didn't tell me she was here.

Bec: Well, you weren't supposed to know.

Heath: For a retired pro surfer, she's still got it. And she's just as adorable as back in the day.

Bec: How do you know she's retired?

Heath: I know a lot of stuff, Bec. What I don't know, is how she's gonna react, when she sees me.

Bec: You're not gonna go over there, are you?

Heath: Why not?

Bec: Things got kinda awkward between you two.

Heath: For God's sake, Bec. That was 20 years ago.

[Heath leaves, headed towards Fly]

Bec: ... (sigh) Sorry Fly, I tried.

[Fly gets out of the water, and when she comes back to the sand, she sees him, clapping in the distance]

Fly: ... Oh no, Bec. You should have kept your mouth shut.

[She scratches her eyes, to make sure it's not the salty water messing with her vision. And then she walks up to him]

Heath: Well well, if it isn't the 2x world champion, Fiona Watson. Or as we call her, cockroach. I mean, Spider. No, wait, that's not it... Fly.

Fly: ... Hi, Heath.

Heath: Come here.

[He hugs her, and her feet get off the ground, as he happily spins her around]

Fly: Wow. Easy there, I'm not a pro athlete anymore.

Heath: Nonsense. I just saw what you did out there.

[Bec shows up again]

Fly: Thanks a lot for telling him.

Bec: I didn't. He simply found you.

Heath: So how are things with you? Seems like you're doing better, after the divorce.

Fly: How do you even know I've been through a divorce? Have you been stalking me?

Heath: Not particularly. I just find those things, even if I don't want to. You're a famous surfer. Your privacy is dead.

Fly: Yeah, and there's no going back on that now. And how about you?

Heath: I run a successful magazine in Melbourne.

Fly: Wow. Good job. And how are things with Annabelle?

Heath: I'm sorry, who?

Fly: That girl you met in Melbourne, that made you dump me by e-mail.

Heath: Oh, that. Yeah, it didn't last. And neither did the next 15 relationships I was in.

Fly: 15? That's a lot. But then again, you were always a thirst trap, so I can't say I'm surprised.

Bec: Tsc, thirst trap? This guy?

Heath: Love you too, Bec.

Fly: Anyways, why are you here?

Heath: Wanna tell her, Bec? Or should I do it?

Bec: You do it.

Heath: Alright. I'm trying to bring back Solar Blue.

Fly: What?!

Bec: And he wants me to be his business partner.
