The afternoon went by, and right now, the three of them are discussing things over dinner, at a restaurant.
Fly: I don't get it. You're gonna do all of this, just because of a dream with Simmo?
Heath: No. I'll admit, that's where I got the idea from. But I also wanna do this fo-
Fly: The money?
Heath: No. For the surfing community. Think about it: How many talented young surfers, have been sitting on the sidelines, due to a lack of funding? That's what Solar Blue used to fight, back in the day. I wasn't born rich, and neither were you. Well, maybe you, Bec.
Bec: (chuckles) Shut up.
Heath: I'm for real. Solar Blue was all about the dream. The dream, that anyone, no matter how much money they had, could win the wild card, end up on the pro circuit, and become world champion. That's what Andrew and Simmo did, and that's what these kids today need.
Fly: That is true. I don't see many surf academies doing that, these days. Maybe this isn't such a bad idea.
Bec: ... Yeah. Maybe it isn't.
Heath: So does that mean you're onboard?
Bec: ... Yes.
Heath: Yaaaaay!
Bec: But don't do anything just yet, alright? Let me talk to my guy first.
Fly: Your guy? What are you, a mafia boss?
Heath: (laughs) Good one.
Bec: You know what I mean, Fly. We're gonna need a marketing specialist, to know how to approach this.
Heath: That's good. If you want, I can have my guys do the math, and figure out some rough numbers like, right now.
Bec: We might not need that, Heath. Just let me see what he says.
Heath: Alright. And then we have to hire a coach.
Bec: Yeah, but don't worry, we'll hire one later... Or maybe Fly could do it.
Fly: (spits out her drink) Me?!
Bec: Why not? You're here to figure out what to do. You could be a coach.
Heath: Yeah, I hadn't thought of that. Plus, you won 2 world titles.
Fly: No no no no. I'm not cut-out to be a coach. Go with that Gary guy, or something.
Heath: Sure you are, Fly. You're a double world champion.
Fly: But I can't coach. You all saw what happened, when I stayed at Solar Blue for my second year. They didn't even listen to me.
Heath: At first. But then Simmo talked some sense into them.
Fly: Ah, great. I don't wanna be the kind of coach, who needs another authority figure nearby, to get some respect.
Bec: Fly, that was before you were a world champion. You're on another level now.
Heath: Exactly. Your aura is totally different. You're like a surfing goddess.
Fly: Please don't start exaggerating.
Bec: But it's true, Fly. You're the only one who doesn't see it.
Heath: Look, you need another career. Maybe it's time you start passing the torch.
Bec: The kids that get taught by you, will turn into absolute monsters of the surfing world.
Fly: That's so not true. What if I turn into a terrible coach?
Bec: Just give it a shot first, and see how you do.
Heath: Yeah. You're not going back on the circuit. But you're still in amazing shape, and you love surfing. So this is the option that makes the most sense.
Fly: ... (sigh) Fine. I'll think about it.
Bec: Thank God.
Heath: She's gonna say yes. I can feel it.
Fly: (chuckles) Shut up, Heath.
