It's now night time in Melbourne. Heath is asleep, having a strange dream. He's in heaven.
Heath: (looking around) What is this place?
[Simmo shows up behind him, floating in the air with angel wings]
Simmo: It's heaven, mate. What else would it be?
Heath: (scared, turns around) Jesus! Who are you?
Simmo: It's me. You just saw me in a casket.
Heath: Simmo? Oh my God!
Simmo: Yep. I know. You weren't expecting me.
Heath: Y-you're flying. Y-you have wings on.
Simmo: Yes, I do. And they work, unlike the parachute they gave me.
Heath: (laughs) This is unbelievable. What's it like, up here?
Simmo: It's pretty neat, if you ask me. But I'm not gonna spoil the whole thing for you. You'll find out when it's your time.
Heath: ... I'm here too, now that I think of it. Am I dead?
Simmo: Nah, you're just having a dream.
Heath: Huh... So what's the point of this? Are you gonna offer me some solid peace of advice, that you learned in the afterlife, that's gonna help me have some sort of life-changing breakthrough in the real world?
Simmo: What? No... Listen, I'm here to ask you one thing, and I chose you, because I think you're the man for the job.
Heath: Oh. So now that you're dead, you're gonna start asking favors.
Simmo: Uhm, yeah?
Heath: Okay, go on.
Simmo: Look, I don't have any regrets. Everything I had to do, I did. I got a beautiful wife. I got kids. I got grandkids. I had success. I tried all the stuff I wanted to try. Surfing gigantic waves, rock climbing, skydiving. This last one didn't end well, but you get the idea... There's only one thing I've always wanted to do, but I didn't get the chance to do it in life.
Heath: What is it?
Simmo: Bring Solar Blue back.
Heath: ... I see. And why didn't you? You had almost 20 years.
Simmo: I was busy, and I didn't gather the money I needed to pull that off. I always thought I could do it later, but later never came. So now, it's up to you.
Heath: Me?
Simmo: Why not? You're successful. You have made a substancial amount of money, from running a successful magazine.
Heath: Hey, how do you know that stuff? We haven't talked in years.
Simmo: It's one of the perks of being in heaven. I know everything.
Heath: ... I don't know, Simmo. There's no way I could do that.
Simmo: You can. I trust you. If there's anyone who can do it, it's you.
Heath: And what if I fail?
Simmo: Ugh, another 'what if'. One day, you're gonna be in this place, Heath. Don't spend the rest of your time on earth, wondering about 'what ifs'.
[Heath wakes up]
Heath: ... What the hell was that? What on earth? (takes a few deep breaths) Relax, Heath. It was just a dream. You were not in heaven. It was just your subconscious. It was probably that convo with that Guy guy, that got you thinking about Solar Blue... (giggles) Guy guy. Funny name.
[He looks at the watch, and it's almost midnight]
Heath: ... I can't bring back Solar Blue, right? It's a crazy idea... It's midnight, I might as well just go back to sleep.
[He shuts his eyes for a few seconds, but then it hits him]
Heath: I don't have to do it alone. I could ask for help... Bec never left Blue Water Beach, right?
[He gets up, and tries to find Bec on social media. Unfortunately, he can't find her anywhere]
Heath: Damn it! She's off the grid... Edge! He used to date her. He probably knows what's up.
[He calls Edge, and Edge answers]
Edge: Heath? What's going on?
Heath: Mate, sorry for waking you up, but it's really important. Do you have Bec's number?
Edge: Who the hell is Bec?
Heath: Bec Sanderson, from Solar Blue?
Edge: Mate, how would I have her number? We haven't talked since I left Solar Blue. Are you nuts?
Heath: Chill out. I just thought that may-
Edge: I have a flight to catch in the morning, man! This couldn't wait?
Heath: Sorry, mate. Go back to sleep.
[Edge hangs up, and Heath remembers to call Matt. Matt answers]
Matt: Oi. What's up?
Heath: Hey. Sorry for calling you this late at night.
Matt: It's alright, mate. I couldn't sleep either way. What do you want?
Heath: This is gonna seem kinda random, but do you have Bec's number?
Matt: Bec? As in Bec Sanderson?
Heath: Yes.
Matt: I don't... But I'm pretty sure Perri is still in touch with her. Hold on, I'll give her a call.
Heath: Thanks, mate!
