"Y/n you ready for school?" Derek says walking out of Zola's room "yeah I'm ready thanks for breakfast mum" you say grabbing your bag and walking over to the door. " your welcome remember Lily's dads picking you up" your mom says giving you a hug goodbye "yup thanks bye love you" "bye sweetie" Derek says kissing Merediths head "I'll see you at the hospital later" she said. 3:30 pm "Hey mer!" Arizona says walking up to the nurses station "hey Arizona" "oo 911 to the pit gotta go" Arizona said "anything interesting?" "I'll let you know!" Arizona said running to the pit. "What do we got" Arizona said asking Tom and Owen while they were running for the ambulance "15 year old crash victim female Jane doe coded once in the field once in the rig" the paramedic said unloading the patient "page Meredith and Derek " Arizona said "why we have Bailey on the way and we have Tom " Owen asked "cause this is Y/n shepherd" Arizona said. Owen gave both the doctors a concerned look "TRAMA 1 NOW" they all rushed into trama 1 and started hooking you up to machines "what do we go-" Bailey says as she walks in to the trama room "is that?" "Yes now help us" Arizona said. "I'm getting free fluid in the abdomen" "page Callie" Owen says "Y/n! Y/n baby omg" Meredith says running in sitting next to her unconscious daughter "get her out of here" Owen Says "Y/n what the hell happend" Callie says running in "drunk driver hit their car from the side the car flipped and rolled" Arizona said cutting open your shirt "page teddy and Sloan" Callie said "she was coming to meet us here after school" Meredith says gripping on to your hand. " come on Meredith let's go" Callie says pulling mer out of the room "look just wait here it's just outside ok" she said walking back in the the trama room "possible head tramas will need a ct" Tom says "3rd degree burns on her upper shoulder and hand" mark said "She's crashing!" Arizona yells "Push one of epi and get me paddles charge to 100 Clear!" Teddy yells "200 clear!" "What the hell happened" Derek says running over to Meredith who was outside the trama room "drunk driver hit the side and her car flipped" Meredith says sobbing into Derek chest "she's back" Callie says going back to working on you dislocated leg "call and book or 2 I have to get this bleeding under control" Bailey says as she preps you to move "she needs a ct first then we I'll take her to the or Callie you can work on her there you to mark" Tom says "she's waking up" Jackson said "hey Y/n you gave us quite a scare how are you feeling" Arizona said "w-where am I" you say trying to sit up but Arizona pushes your shoulder back down "your in the hospital can you tell me your name and the date" Tom said shingling a light in your eyes " uh Y/n and its Thursday" "ok good but we still need a ct let's move" "no where my mom and dad" "we are right here honey" you hear them yell "let's move now"Tom said
"Ok Y/n we need you to stay as still as possible" you hear Tom say "what happened" you ask "you were hit by a drunk driver and your car flipped" jo said into the mic " free fluid in the brain let's get her to the or" Tom says to jo
"Ok Y/n we are going to put you under now" mark said as they started to put the mask down "wait mark do you know what happened to my friend and her dad" mark puts his head up to the gallery where you parents where sitting Derek just shook his head as he looked down to scared daughter " they uh-" mark looked over to his colleges who were all scrubbing in they all gave you a synthetic look knowing that you were the only one who made it "they are getting treated we will know more soon" "oh ok is Lily awake yet" "no not yet" "oh ok I'm ready now" mark nods as the put the mask down on your face "ok Y/n count back from 10" mark says "10, 9,8,7,6" you say as you fall asleep
You wake up with your mom and dad holding your hand "mhh mom dad" "sweetie hi your awake" your mum said " what happened" "you were in a car crash" "Lily where's Lily" you said sitting up "hey kid how you feeling" mark says walking in "ok I guess" "that's good I'm just going to check your burns" "mark did you end up finding out what happened to lily and her dad" "uh yeah I did" "is she ok" you look at him hopeful" "Y/n I'm sorry but she didn't make it" "no no but you said she was ok" "I know sweetie I'm sorry" " and her dad" mark just shook his head "no we were just driving to the hospital!" You yelled "I know sweetie it sucks it really does" you mum says rubbing your hand "your burns healing nice Y/n" mark says applying the ointment your shoulder you just roll over and look at the wall "hon we are just going to get something to eat" your dad said as they all walk out leaving you alone with your thoughts
2 days later You hadn't said a word in 2 days you were to upset about lily "do you think she will be ok she doesn't even talk anymore" Meredith says outside your room "I'm Sure she will be ok she just needs time" Derek says hugging mer "hey guys!" Callie says walking to the glass icu door "she's not talking" mer says "well she needs to start physical therapy so I'll try get her talking" Callie says as she opens the sliding door to your room "hey Y/n we are starting your physical therapy today" Callie says hopeful you just sit there to mentally exhausted to say anything "ok nope this is not happening get up" "Callie I can't" yes you can this is not what lily would have wanted she would have wanted you to live and try" "I should have died in the crash I wish I did then I wouldn't have to live with the gilt of living" "Y/n you don't mean that you shouldn't have gilt of living you should do everything you can to live" she said "oh ok" "good now let's do your physical therapy"
1 week later "Her burns have healed just needs some ointment every day" mark said "neros clear" Tom arrogantly said " her left arm needs the cast for the next 5 weeks and so does her right leg" Callie said "cardio clear" "so is general" Bailey said "alright so she's good to go?" Derek asked "yep just take it easy" Callie said "come in hon let's get you home" mer said
