Jo had Y/n when she was 21 to her current boyfriend at the time. fast forward a couple weeks he was not able to be a good father so Jo decided to abort the baby. but when she saw Y/n on the screen she couldn't. And now she has a new boyfriend, Alex and he is a better dad then Matt ever was. it took them a while to let Jo into their life but when they did it was worth it. But Jo never wanted to deprive her daughter of a relationship with her father. for some reason Y/n always had hope that her father would show up and when he did he was drunk or hight. But at least she had Alex and her mom to be there for her.
"Y/n I'll see you tomorrow ok?" Alex said as he kissed my head grabbing his stuff for work. "yeah I'll see you tomorrow." I sat at the bench eating my cereal. it was a Friday and I had the day off school to hang out with my dad then i'd stay at his house and come home tomorrow. he wasn't usually in town so it was very rare that I got to see him. "where's you dad getting you from Y/n." my mom said coming out of her room. "uh he said he'd come here." "ok well text him to get you from the hosptital because I have to go to work and I don't want you here all day." "allright" I said getting up grabbing my bag from the couch.
when we arrive at the hospital I so sit in the waiting from because my dad said he'd be there in about 30 minutes. "hey Y/n!" Amelia said sitting next to me. "hey" I smiled back. "what are you up to?" "Nothing really just waiting for my dad to come pick me up." "Sounds boring" she chuckled. I nodded my head laughing with her. she gets a page standing up waving goodbye.
I wait another hour and a half till i finaly see my dad walk through th door. only took him 5000 hours. "dad! what took you so long?" I said running up hugging him. He pushed me off of him slightly not looking to happy. I looked at him confused at what was wrong. "Dad?"
"Don't take that tone with me. I have shit to do and places to be. get your stuff." he groaned at me. this was gonna be a long night.
"are you drunk?!" I said to him when I noticed all they sytoms.
"No! I am not. Fucken hell kid get your shit." I didn't really wanna deal with his shit so I just did what he said.I grab my bag walking towards the door with him.
"hey Y/n! you guys leaving?" i heard a familiar voice say. It was alex. "uh yeah I'll see you tomorrow bye!" I said to him. just before I get the door. "Matt your stumbling, have you had anything to drink?" This was not gonna go well. I though.
"are you accusing me of drinking and driving with my daughter in the car?" He spat at alex.
"Well I wasn't but I am now. I think you should sit down man. get an IV sober up then take her home. she shouldn't be getting in a car with you when your drunk." Alex said trying to calm him down. I walked over to the chair sitting down with my legs pressed up to my chest.
"Your wasting my time man! Y/n Hurry up we are going!" He yelled at me. I grab my bag once again standing up and walking towards him. I then felt hands around me pulling me back.
"She's not going with you when your drunk! what happens if you get in accident? hm? Not only will you most likely seriously injure your daughter but also go to jail for it. Sober up then you can take her." Alex spat at my dad. I got out of his grip sitting back on the waiting room chair.
"Y/n if you don't come with me now I'm not coming back." he spat at me. With fear in my eyes I got up quickly walking towards the door. no way was I not ever seeing my dad over some small argument. Me and my dad start walking out the door I don't even look back at alex I can't belive he almost cost me my dad. I love him and all but no way was I picking him over my dad.
All of a sudden my dad plummets to the floor. I look over to see Alex and my dad fighting on the ground. I see bailey come over followed by my mum. here we go.
"What the fuck Alex! get off of him!" I yelled at him being held back by my mom.
"Matt Alex what the fuck!" I hear my mom yell from behind me. Alex gets up while my dad stays on the ground in defeat.
"He was trying to A blackmail your kid into getting in the car with him. and B drive her while drunk!" he yelled.
"Matt what the fuck!" My mom yelled. he got up from the floor looking at us.
"I'm going I hope I never seen any of you again, sorry I have to leave you with these son of a bitch parents kid." he said walking out of the hospital. I feel tears start to run down my face. I turn around and cry into my moms chest.
"I'm sorry baby. He wasn't a good guy anyway." she said hugging me closer. I look up to see alex scratching the back of his head. I walk over to him hugging him tightly.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you. I know you were just trying to keep me safe." I said hugging him.
"its okay kid. any time."
AN: hey, hey, how ya'll doing. I'M BACK love that I go from updating 2 times in a weeks to not once in 2 months. Uh so, don't hate me for not updating in two months.
