LAIBA P.O.V

As soon as I walked on the sidewalk leading to the house, I tried to calm my nerves, I wanted to visit Rania sooner to help her mother out, but I could not help due to being sick. I looked up at the sky as thoughts engulfed me.

I reached the door knocking before looking around the house admiring the flowers decorated and at the door, her house door was white and there was a flower ring hanging on the door, it looks beautiful.

The door was opened by an angry looking Asher, he glared at me while I took a step back out of fear without realizing, he is they guy I truly fear. he made my life at High School a living hell. He smirked when he realized I fear him, I looked down not wanting to meet his gaze.

Ya Allah, I thought I could escape this monster as soon as I left High School only to find out he is my best friend's brother.

"Stay away from him, I am warning you" he threatened coming closer, I took a step back again not responding feeling a lump form in my throat. I knew who 'him' he was referring to without him having to specify.

I did not say anything, I just stayed silent nodding. I did not know what else to do to get him off my back except for agreeing to what he said. He opened the door widely before storming off. I stayed on my spot for a few seconds just trying to process what just happened.

I walked into the house before closing the door behind me. I went straight to Rania's room, luckily no one seemed to be around in this house. I genuinely thought the house would be swarmed with people.

I walked into her room to hear the shower running, I knew she was showering. I sighed trying to calm my nerves 'why did he threaten me?' I thought before lying in her bed.

I took out my phone to surf the internet out of boredom, I wanted to pray salah so I decided the as soon as Rania comes out the bathroom, I would go do wudhu and pray. Allah comes first, everything else is secondary.

The shower turned off and I sat up to get myself ready to go do wudhu, I looked into the mirror removing my hijab. I had straightened my thick, long silky hair and tried to set my hair. I looked at my reflection before reading the dua when looking into the Mirror.

I turned around to remove my shoes, socks, and Abaya quickly so as soon as Rania comes out the shower I will go to the bathroom.

The door opened making me look up quickly only for my eyes to widen and gasp at the sight before me, Zeeshan stood there with a towel on his waist and clothes in his hand shocked to see me before staring right into my soul. I froze and immediately stood up before looking away and reaching for my hijab before running out the room.

My heart was beating, my cheeks flushed out of embarrassment. I felt so embarrassed that I wished the earth opened up and swallowed me, 'Astaghfirullah' I kept repeating over and over in my head Zeeshan was in Rania's shower? Why? I ran downstairs into the kitchen to find Rania's mother.

"Assalamu Alaikum Aunty" I said as soon as I entered the kitchen, she turned to smile at me "Wa Alaikum salaam beta" she hugged me before asking me if I needed anything, I shook my head before helping her. "Aunty where is Rania?" I asked looking to help around.

"Beta she is out in the back yard making sure the tent is decorated and making sure the chairs are set well, then whatever she needs to be changed she will tell Asher to get it done. Don't worry beta just go to her I will manage" she looked at me ushering me out the kitchen.

I continued tying my hijab properly before heading to the backyard, I walked straight into the tent. The tent was joined to the house there were two entrances one from the conservatory and the other was from the other end of the tent. I observed everything, admiring the decoration and the mini stage.

The seating arrangement was not finalized yet, I saw Rania talking to her brother clearly frustrated. I walked towards them, I saw her brother Asher smirk at me as if he knew something I looked away from his gaze and looked straight at Rania.

We greeted each other and hugged, she asked how I was feeling, and I told her that I was fine. I gave her the Eid gift that was given to me by my parents for Rania and her brother. I gave Asher his gift box and he thanked me before leaving towards the house. Rania thanked me for the gift before we worked on what did not seem right, after all I helped arrange everything to how she wanted it. I went to pray before continuing.

As I was keeping some chairs in order I bumped backwards into someone's chest, I turned to see Zeeshan, I blushed clearly embarrassed by our earlier encounter I apologized before truing to move passed him but I just tried to as he stopped me in my tracks.

I gave him a questioning look before clearing my throat "please may I pass?" I mumbled before crossing my hands on my chest. "You may only pass if you know the password" he said before chuckling. "What? Are we kids?" I questioned before sighing "No but it's a harmless game Labo" as soon as he whispered the name, he once called me, our childhood memories came crushing down on me.

"Laiba!" Rania shouted from afar looking for me, I tried to look past him. "I need to go" I grumbled trying to move past him, but he would not let me by blocking me with his body "Zeeshan" I warned, glaring up at him

"Password" He smirked; I rolled my eyes before moving the chairs next to me so I could move pass him. His smirk dropped before "Hey that is not fair!" he called out and I laughed sticking out my tongue at him before walking away to a stressed out Rania.
