Chapter Six

LAIBA P.O.V

In the morning Halima woke me up for Fajr, we prayed and then I read Quran out loud as she sat and heard me read.

After I was done she took the book of Hayat -us- sahabah and read it to me . After that we went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for everyone.

As I was having my tea, having a conversation with Halima I saw Sadaf come into the kitchen, she had her breakfast a bit away from me and Halima but kept on smiling while texting someone in her phone, which is strange.

I wondered who that was but ignored it, soon enough lubna joined us. she showed me and Halima dumb jokes and honestly they weren't that funny but because they were so dumb it made us laugh, I couldn't control myself with the loud laugh that came out and so did Halima.

I had stopped laughing, having some tears in my eyes and my stomach physically hurt but it felt really good and as I wiped the tears from my eyes.

I saw him already staring and he had a small smile on his lips and immediately looked away to hear that I got a notification

_zeesh_ : I thought about what you said

I frowned. what does he mean?

Is it okay if I reply?

I didn't know what to do, should I reply or not?

_zeesh_ : I want to become a better Muslim, I really need your help

_zeesh_ : I really want to become close to Allah but I'm scared because I'm such a big sinner, I have committed so many sins

Should I really reply?

Maybe if I reply to him with an Ayah it won't be a problem or so i thought

Umar_Laiba_: "Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto him in repentance and loves those who purify Themselves" [surah : Al Baqarah, verse : 222]

Umar_Laiba_ : "Whoever does a wrong or wrongs Himself, But then seeks forgiveness of Allah, He will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful" [surah: An-Nisa, verse: 110]

Umar_Laiba_ : "......And who can Forgive sins Except Allah ...." [surah: Al-Imran, Verse: 135]

I sent that and was a little happy with what I messaged him I hope that he finds that helpful In Shaa Allah

_zeesh_ : finally you replied! The happiest day of my life!

I frowned at that

_zeesh_ : okay, okay I'm sorry! Where exactly should I start?

Umar_Laiba_ : The Masjid.

_zeesh_ : okay! Thanks ;)

I don't know why but I felt that he wasn't serious about this, I ignored the feeling and offed my phone and sighed

Ya Allah please help me I thought as I got up to go with my sister and all the girls for shopping.

After shopping for hours I couldn't take it and pleaded to Halimah that we go back home. Lubna kept laughing at me saying "you still hate shopping huh?"

i looked at her saying "i used to, i do and will always hate shopping with all of you, don't get me wrong i love spending time with you guys but come on when its just walking for hours staring at every object nah i can't do that I would only go if it's just for a while" i whined

"Come on, let's go to that restaurant and have some food so this idiot can shut up," Halimah said. I smiled in victory while all the girls laughed knowing me well.

After eating Halimah tried to call our driver who takes us everywhere whenever necessary but he told her that his daughter was sick and took permission to leave from my mother

"mom didn't even tell us that the driver had to leave" Halima shook her head disapprovingly

"yeah that's kinda odd, mom would always inform us" i said that as i was checking my phone "oh no! 10 missed calls" looking up guiltily forgetting i had put my phone on silent "oops" i said "what!" Halimah looked at me

"I missed her calls, my phone was on silent!!!" I defended myself. Everyone around me groaned

"Seriously now what?!" as Halimah said that we turned to see Zeeshan with two other guys i quickly looked away but not before noticing me looking his way soon he was walking towards us and said salaam we replied but mine was barely a mummer. Lubna explained our situation to her brother and not long after he decided do drop us home, of course Halimah denied but he insisted saying our protection is his duty since at the end of the day he can't let us go with a taxi as it's not safe.

While we were waiting outside for him to inform the two other friends of his i thought about if we would fit as it is me, Halimah, lubna, lubaba and Sadaf plus him.... Six people in one car . suddenly halima wanted to go to the washroom and so did lubna and lubaba but

i whined "i don't wanna go back in as walking made my feet hurt" sadaf rolled her eyes "it will take hours just to find the washroom but i know where it is" so they went leaving me out all alone after few minutes i saw zeeshan walk towards me but before he comes close i could smell his cologne. he got closer to me but as he got really close, my heart started to beat really fast so i took a step back to which i knew he noticed.

"where are the rest?" he curiously looked around me

"they have gone to the washroom" i replied not looking at him but looking at everyone around us, after a moment of awkward silence and me silently praying those crazy women come back quickly from the washroom.

"I'm sorry" he whispered low enough for me to hear, i looked at him then looked away.

"sorry for what exactly? " I was confused.

Before he could respond I saw Zaid come out from his car. Zeeshan said something but my focus was not on his words but on Zaid walking towards us looking really angry. which made me nervous as Zaid hardly ever gets angry.

Ya Allah i do not know what will happen.
