Lucy's POV
I rushed down the steps, angrily stomping away.
"Lucy, get your arse back here this instant!" yelled my brother from the top of the stairs.
I looked up to see his dumb blonde head peering over the top of the starcase. "NO!" I screamed back. I ran outside, into the cold snow and slammed the door. Walking around the tower base, I sat on a beach in the courtyard. A cool breeze blew through my hair. The snow looked like salt coating the grass. I could see my breath and practically taste the cold on my tongue. Everytime I inhaled it felt like my insides were frozen. I had only had the silence for a few minutes when I heard the sound of two people emerge from the tower on the other side and run past the courtyard. It was Kiss-Up-Parkinson and Try-Hard-Zabini. I then heard another person who I could only assume was my brother by the sound of his large boots and his breath pattern, he was the only person I know who didn't shiver in the cold. Other than my father of course.
Draco sat beside me on the bench, but I turned away spitefully. "We need to start packing." I scoffed. "Look, Luce, it wasn't my choice. Father wants us home for the holidays."
"But you just had to obey Daddy's orders, didn't you?"
"How dare you speak to me like that."
"Really?" I stood up, furiously. "I'm not gonna be able to write a single letter unless Father knows who it's to! And you know damn well, Draco, that Harry Potter is my friend and there is nothing you can do that'll change that!"
He glared back at me with pure hatred in his grey eyes. "Don't you ever yell at me like that, EVER again."
"I'll yell at you all I want, blah blah blah, I'm not going back to the stupid manor!"
"You are going back and you're gonna like it!"
"Bloody hell, Dray, When will you stop treating me like a child!"
"When you stop throwing tantrums like you're two."
By now he was standing up and had placed his hand on my shoulder shoving me back down onto the bench.
"Yeah, well, sometimes it's hard to hide what I feel around you Draco, so I'll tell you right now. You're controlling and you can't so much as let me hang out with one boy!"
"It's not just one boy, Lucy. It's Harry bloody Potter."
"Oh, belt up, for once!" I crossed my arms. "You know sometimes I hate you!" I turned away, yet again.
"Yeah well sometimes I hate you right back." Draco sat down facing away from me.
I pulled my knees up to my chest as snow began to fall, a shiver ran up my spine. Exhaling, I noticed it was so cold I could see my breath. I felt my brother's cold hand wrap around my back and pull me closer. The next was the warmth of his robe over my arms. Quickly shoving it off, it fell in the snow and I stood up. "I'm sick and tired of your stupid mood swings, Draco!" Turning around angrily, I stormed off.
"Lucy!" Draco exclaimed.
I opened the door to the main building, ignoring my brother's roars and marched inside. I kept my eyes fixed on the ground. I wasn't going to cry because of my tosser brother, however my thoughts normally tended to overpower my other senses, causing my view to fog up. A few minutes later, I hit something, shoot! At first I thought it was a wall, but when I hit the ground, I fixed my gaze on the person? No, people, three people stood peering over me.
"Whoa!" said a familiar voice.
"Oh, h-hi, Harry. Sorry I ran into you there, just lost in my thoughts."
