Harry's POV

I watched as my uncle and cousin loaded their things into the car. It wasn't safe here anymore. They knew that. Death Eaters bided their time in almost every corner of Europe, spreading Voldemort's wrath. My aunt, Petunia, was in the kitchen. She packed a few snacks for the road, leaving little for me once they left. I made my way downstairs, it felt wrong to miss them. But now was not the time to be selfish, they'd be safer this way.

Hermione's POV

I wasn't supposed to use magic outside of school, but honestly, rules didn't quite matter with the second wizarding war looming over our heads. Innocent muggle families were being slaughtered for reasons I couldn't figure out. I watched as my parents prepared tea, smiling at each other. The Dark Lord was after Harry, Harry knew me which meant everyone I loved was in danger. I raised my wand.

"Obliviate." The words left my lips with a stinging sensation. I watched my picture disappear from the portraits around the house. I quickly left through the door suit. I wished I hadn't done this. But now was not the time to be selfish, they'd be safer this way.

Lucy's POV

My father was called into an emergency meeting, and we all were. Our wrists started burning on the way to the train. He'd pulled over and set a spell over our car to make it invisible, I quickly took his arm, closing my eyes before he apparated us.

My mother and brother were already in their seats, I took mine in between Draco and my father, my mother on the other side of Draco.

"Lucius," Narcissa said, a bit of relief in her voice. She stood walking over to my father. I looked around as the two spoke, the Dark Lord sat in a large chair at the head of the table. My gaze drifted upward toward the painted ceiling. My eyes settled on a woman, suspended in the air. My hand raised to my mouth to cover the gasp of fear.

I felt Draco's hand cover the one resting on my chair arm. I looked over and he put his finger to his mouth in a shushing motion which I returned with a nod.

"Tonight. Harry Potter is being moved from his home to a safe house. We are not sure where. I will be choosing which of you shall wait for him to take him and any accomplices down." I didn't raise my head but I knew it was the Dark Lord speaking.

The names were listed faster than I could perceive them, I recognized a few of them, my aunt Bella, my father, Crabbe and Goyle, and some others. The name I recognized most... was mine.

Harry's POV

Polyjuice was passed around the room, to the Weasley twins, to Fleur, then Hermione, next Ron, and then Mundungus. Within seconds I was looking around at myself. We wasted no time getting into the many versions of transport brought.

Mad-Eye Moody stood before us, "Three. Two. One." His voice boomed and we were off.

"Pretty smooth sailin' right' now, eh, Harry?" Hagrid said from beside me, I agreed, the wind almost blew glasses off.

"What's that?" I pointed to what looked like a flock of birds.

"Blimey..." Hagrid said and tried to steer clear, it wasn't birds. Masked servants of Voldemort approached us. I looked back seeing spells flying. We were way outnumbered.

"Hurry, Hagrid." I rushed as one started chasing us. White hair flew behind the figure, Lucius Malfoy? No, their broom was shorter than his.

I urged Hagrid to go faster, not wanting to find out, I could practically see the hatred in the figure's eyes as they charged forward. It wasn't a hatred I'd seen before though... I didn't have much time to think when Hedwig came charging at the figure, but was interrupted by another Death Eater.

"Avada Kedavra." Were the only words I'd heard before my bird fell to the ground.

"No. NO!" I yelled.

The second death eater pulled back, "Malfoy, we have to go back. MALFOY!" The masculine voice ordered, but the figure stayed persistent, throwing spells back and forth, eventually Hagrid landed at the Weasley's. We were safe.

"Oh- oh, Harry." Mrs. Weasley said, checking me for injuries. "Inside, quickly."

I followed after her and was greeted with the rest of the Harrys. George lay on the couch, his ear bleeding, no doubt from one of the many spells of the merciless servants. Remus seemed awfully tense as he watched George be tended to.

"I'm going to go do one last check. Make sure we aren't followed." Remus said. I watched him leave and checked in with George then Hermione, who seemed awfully worried.

"Alright there, Mione?" I asked, she didn't even look at me. "Hermione." That got her attention.

"Yes?" The look in her eyes conveyed the most terror I've ever seen in this witch. "That was... exhilarating." I bobbed my head in agreement."

"Shouldn't Remus be back now?" Tonks said, she looked out the window for her husband.

"Don't worry, dear. He'll be round any second, it's a big field out there." Molly said, handing her a cup of tea and rubbing the shape shifter's back comfortingly.

As if on cue, Remus came in, dragging a masked wizard by the ear. "Found this stowaway." he said.

"Actually!" The person snapped in a quite feminine voice. It was a girl. "I didn't stow myself away at all. I followed you oblivious wizards." She looked at Hermione and Fleur. "And witches." the words lingered in the air. Witch wasn't an insult in the Wizarding World but this girl sure as hell made it sound like it.

"Take off the damn mask already. It's drenched in YOUR blood. You lost!" Lupin said, fuming.

She glanced at me, her eyes seemed familiar, a grey color met my gaze as I looked up. "Harry Potter." I couldn't see the smirk but I knew it was there.

"Take it off." I said sternly. "TAKE OFF THE MASK!"

"As you wish." The mask of the girl slid off. Her pale complexion and white hair... Lucy... she looked exactly like her brother, a girl versions, but she was beautiful. I mean, she was beautiful four years ago but now she was gorgeous.

"Bloody hell." Ron said.

"Lucy?" Hermione blurt almost relived.

"Aww, its the mudblood who thinks she's a real witch." She said condescendingly.

Hermione's face fell, she'd come to terms with the insult from Draco over the years but hearing it from the girl we'd loved as kids must've stung.

Remus had a firm grip on Lucy's arm, "You guys must be real proud of yourselves." She announced dragging out the 'real'. "It's hilarious, honestly!" She laughed.

"Lucy snap out of it, you're being crazy."

"Oh but this, is who I am, Ronald. I mean look at you."

"Growing isn't the same as switching personalities entirely." He uttered looking at the floor.

Lucy ripped up her sleeve, a black tattoo of a skull and snake was on her arm, welts rested around it. I'd known she didn't have the best relationship with her family but I know those burns were not self inflicted. I don't know whether to be glad or not about that.

"This is who I am." My old friend smiled, Hermione had a hand over her mouth, tears brimming the edges of her eyes.

Remus begun leading her upstairs, "Your mudblood friend doesn't have long!" Lucy cackled, before being thrown into a room by Remus, not before he magic-proofed it though.

Merlin, I never thought I'd see her again. She was so different. I don't even know if this is really her anymore. A part of me wants to run up there and hug her tightly, telling her not to worry and that we can fix her, so I can finally love her the way she deserves... deserved... to be. Another part hopes she suffers, it hopes that she watches Voldemort get taken down, and everything falls apart in front of her. I plan on making both of those happen.
