Andrea's POV
I barely got any sleep. All I could think about all night was how everything Liliana had told me seemed to have a double meaning now. I know Liliana went on the run from her family. But I have yet to figure out why. Regardless, I can't let that stop me from doing what I need to do.
I get out of bed when I start to hear shuffling outside. I open the door to find Armin and my sister in the kitchen. Armin's making coffee while my sister rubs her temples slowly. "Mind if I have a cup?"
"Oh," Armin turns, offering a grin while he grabs a third mug, "I didn't know you were up."
"Oh, I just did," I say, taking a large sip of Armin's coffee. If there is anything Armin knows how to make it is all things breakfast. "Where are Damien and Liliana?"
"Still sleeping I think," Sienna mutters, taking a sip of her coffee.
As if on cue, the door to our suite slings open, "Who's ready to hit the beach?"
I release a breath and remove my hand from the gun at my hip when I see that it's Damien. He's wearing a new pair of swim shorts and an unbuttoned shirt that shows his muscled chest. I still remember when I first met Damien in school. He was scrawny and could barely fight his own battles. He's come a long way from the boy I met in school and uses that to get just about any woman he wants.
"Inside voices please," Liliana says at Damien's side, holding the ear closest to Damien. She's wearing another one-piece bathing suit, this one black that trails high on her hips and makes her legs look impossibly long. The suit dips low on her chest, exposing her full chest. A sheer cover-up rests on her shoulders, tying loosely at her waist. She has large sunglasses covering her eyes, which, I'm sure is from the hangover she no doubt is having. Even so, if she were anyone else I would've allowed the short fantasy that flashed through my mind to play out. But I can't. No matter how much the rush of blood through my body begs me to indulge.
"Where the hell have you two been?" I ask, snapping myself out of whatever delusion I let myself slip into.
"Relax," Damien smirks, "Liliana and I were the first two up so we decided to get ready and go try to find some breakfast for everyone. We found a great breakfast burrito place."
"Oh, yes," Sienna practically cheers, snatching the bag from Damien's hand before sinking her teeth in one of the burritos.
Armin laughs before grabbing his own burrito and tossing me one. A burst of flavor from fresh chorizo, eggs, and peppers fills my mouth with the first bite. Damien wasn't lying, these are great. "So," I mutter between bites, "what's the plan for today? We have the whole day to ourselves."
"The beach, duh," Sienna tuts, taking another bite of her burrito.
"I don't think you of all people need to spend another day on the beach," I say with a pointed look, shooting a glance at Liliana to already find her watching me carefully. There's something guarded about her this morning.
"What's that supposed to mean?" My sister asks with furrowed brows.
"Sienna, you were wasted before five yesterday."
A small grin pulls on her lips, "Oh yeah. But so what? We're on vacation. You're supposed to let loose. Besides, you act like I do that when I'm working back home."
Armin and Damien both look at me with stares that tell me they think she's right about one thing. We're on vacation. I let out a puff of air from my lungs, "Fine, but we're not carrying your ass up here again."
"Yes," Damien whispers, pulling a fist towards him. Sienna follows his lead with a cheer before she runs to her bedroom to change. I have a feeling this is going to be a long day.
