The idea was simple. Mix a drug that will make the man strong enough to help Larry break out of this hell hole. They both need to find the nearest emergency exit in time before they're shot dead. And on the account of guns - Larry had to steal one. He wasn't yet sure how but he needed to get a weapon so that if they caught up to the fact the man wasn't dying he could defend them.

The idea was terrifying to him. He'd never killed anybody and in all honesty never planned to break that record but he was stuck here with no way out. And if it took killing a bunch of disgusting people to make it to the exit - he couldn't let himself hesitate. Either they die or they kill him. Not much of a choice on his end.

He was finally done preparing for the abomination of a concoction he needed to make. He truly wasn't sure if the man wouldn't just die from overdose after taking this, which... as bad as it sounded, for Larry it didn't make that much of a difference.

He was still fairly confident though. Confident in his skill and in the fact that the drug will do everything he anticipated it would. Which was just a lot of enhancing and stabilizing...

He made another trip to Erque's office, additionally noting how much he'd grown to hate that part of the experiment block which on the surface didn't really look much different from any other ones. Yet the stench of selfishness and presumption kept his mind a clear sky of repulsion towards the people that worked there.

He knocked four times and waited to be let in.

"What now?" He also picked up on how Erque seemed to be growing more and more annoyed with him each visit. He was glad they were on the same page at least with one thing.

"I think I got it"

The man finally dignified him with a glance that for once held a bit of interest towards him.

"Ya think?"

"I got it" Larry repeated with more force in his tone.

"You have any plans I could look at?"

Larry's chest deflated under his coat but he remained composed "I only have a list of things I need right now if you want to take a look?" he said while trying not to come off too tense.

"Yeah give it to me"

He took out a white sheet of paper from his cloak's pocket and handed it to the scientist. Erque leaned back on his chair and scanned the words. He raised an eyebrow "Interesting combination"

"An efficient one"

The taller flicked a glare back at him "So what now?"

"I need to get to one of the maintenance rooms outside. You don't have everything I need here. I'm not sure if you have rooms like that anywhere nearby but I'm certain we had them back where I'd worked before"

Erque shamelessly scanned his whole appearance. Almost as if the cogs turning in his brain helped him estimate the newcomer's threat levels.

"We do have rooms like that. Hold up" he put a hand under his desk and appeared to have pressed something "What don't we have?"

"Annodrol, metrachloric acid and an extract of fluorotrioseptisect"

"Alright. Get that and make the toxin as quickly as possible" As he spoke an armed guard slipped inside the room and stopped beside Larry. Erque motioned for the other to leave while he announced "You will accompany this man to a C-Block room number 225. He needs supplies" the guard nodded and turned around, stopping which prompted Larry to swallow thickly and leave the office before them.

All hairs on his arms stood on alert as he moved back to the main room and towards the doors that once let him into this inescapable nightmare. He swallowed thickly as they pushed past them and hung his head low when they walked by the tall watching creature.
