The music made the club feel alive except for one person. That person wanted to feel something, but not from the music. From someone. Even after all the drinks she already had, the emptiness in her refused to leave.
A few boys tried their chance to steal a dance from her. Gifting her seducing smiles, enchanting her with sweet nothings, however, the only thing she could offer in return was a tight polite smile as she would find her way near her friends.
As the girl was dancing through the large amount of already half-drunk people, one decided to step way too deep in her personal space. He tried to make her dance, slurring worthless charming promises in her ear.
How was she going to get away from this?
She sighed, glancing up as he was speaking something she couldn't catch even though he was talking too close to her ear.
"I'm sorry but I need to go to the bathroom" That was her first and only option to get out of that situation which was quite uncomfortable. Even though he smelled like expensive perfume, it was mixed with a deep scent of alcohol. It was a deep no for (Y/N).
"I'll take you!" The boy insisted already tagging along with the poor girl.
She refused once again, and he finally took her words as serious as her facial expressions and so, she began searching around for the bathroom and making her way avoiding any male contact.
How, of all those persons there, none could make her feel things?
That was weird, since the reason she ended her relationship in the first place was so she could feel new things. New excitements, but for now, all that she could sense was disgust.
(Y/N) twisted and turned around the dancing people with her gaze on the bathroom hall.
On her peripheral vision a tall man was standing. Her gaze couldn't help but instantly follow the figure.
Raven black hair, messy enough to make her snicker. She couldn't analyse well due to the LED lightning only exacerbating his prominent features but oh he was a sight. His black t-shirt would highlight what it seemed like white jeans contrasting her rosette top and violet bottoms.
His inattentive eyes glaring the cup he was holding and doing circular motions absentmindedly. People dancing around him has he swallowed with greediness not minding how cold the drink was. The lights went low, so low that were almost off. She stepped forward keeping her wild stare at him even when all she could see was deep red gloom.
Perhaps maybe one more shot would be enough to make her feel confident... or two.
Nevertheless, fate had not in its plans to give her the pleasure of making her meet the splendid boy just a few meters away from her. All it needed was a blink and a wave of people flooded her camp of vision, his gorgeous figure fading into view and dissipating into sweet memories.
Another sigh escaped. She felt alone surrounded by that sea of people. Her friend Bokuto was too occupied with some girls. Her friend Atsumu was exploding his energy on the dance floor and in that day, she just couldn't keep up with that stamina. The poor girl thought coming would be a good idea, but not even the alcohol was giving her the fierce energy she badly needed.
So, she headed to the nearest place to sit, and a drink came. And another. And one more. Until she was on the dance floor with a guy with black hair and muscular figure. She didn't remember how she ended up dancing, especially with someone, but his hands travelled around her body quite gracefully. He had never met her, but somehow, he could manage to find some of her soft spots that would make her squirm and let out the most inaudible mewls.
She knew this guy wasn't him. The tall guy standing in the middle of that sea of stamina wasn't the one she was dancing with. That guy's hair slicked back just a tiny bit. Her drunken state could mistake her, but no amount of alcohol could misguide the way the other guy's hair was unkempt.
She exceedingly wanted to know the whereabouts of that man. No other in that party peeked her attention the same way the messy haired man did.

Kuroo's best friend brought him to a place he doesn't enjoy that much. But he made the effort on going since his best friend paid a visit for a few weeks so that he could use his shoulder to cry on and diverge the sad thoughts away from the broken-hearted boy.
It was being a difficult task especially the only clubs in that city were reduced to two. Being the one they were right there the same one Kuroo used to frequent with (Y/N).
It had been a while since he had heard from her.
A drink in his hand that quickly was taken down, having another on its way. He stood there, admiring the lives of others through photographs that were published on various social networks. His head down, hidden like a ghost from occasional glances and perhaps recognition, until a voice called his name.
Surprised, in the midst of the noise, he could hear his name coming out of someone's lips. Assuming it was Kenma, he searched for whoever called him, his gaze as lost as his mind, but no one to be found.
Oh, but he found someone, someone he knows all too well. Her hair in a high ponytail, - his favourite hairstyle - enhancing her gleaming eyes. Was that lilac? He couldn't see clearly due to the dark red lights - or maybe because of the fourth drink he had already had - nevertheless, that color suited her, quite a lot in fact.
She was heavenly standing there searching for something as he searched for the guts to go and initiate a conversation with her; or at least try. If he spilled his guts, would she sweep the floor like it was dust? That was a question which probably will never have an answer for.
He wanted to run up to her. He wanted to tell her his heart still longed for her. He wanted to tell her that her side of his bed was still haunted by her ghost and no other ghost could haunt his dreams, neither his bed nor his heart, but he also wanted to be aware if the other way around was the same. He also wanted to know if his side of her bed was taken just like her heart.
Nevertheless, he remained there. Ghosting around her figure in the middle of a flooded dance floor that he wouldn't have the opportunity to shine with her as they would mix with the other people dancing. He caught a glimpse at her one last time. Her stunning figure hunting around for someone. Someone that wasn't him.
Dancing figures began moving around at the rhythm of the loud music until what remained was the memory of her once more.
"I just wish I was part of your life." A soft murmur echoed into nothing.
