Kokichi laid down on the press, on top of kaitos jacket. Slowly but surely he was able to lower himself, his whole body aching from the arrows and everything that had happened in the past hour. Not to mention the churning feeling in his chest. As he lay staring at the hydraulic press that was about to crush him, Kaito spoke. "Are you ready..? " Kaito spoke slowly and gently like he always did. Like Kokichi always loved. "Was.. I boring? " The question seemed odd to Kaito but answered anyways without question. "No, not at all Kokichi. " He could almost hear Kaitos smile as he said that. Kokichi held back his tears and said "I'm ready. " Kokichis voice was shaky and you could hear that he was on the verge of crying. Slowly. Kaito turned on the camera and pressed the button. Kokichi was gone. He turned off the camera and at that moment he realized just how much he loves kokichi. How did he fail to realize his feelings earlier? Dropping to his knees he cried. "This is what he wanted. " he whispered to himself, and left the hanger.
