Avery and the girls are outside a pawn shop waiting for Spencer to get Melissa's ring and Avery says, "This place is skeevy." Hanna says, "She pawned her sister's wedding ring. You're not gonna go to Tiffany's." Emily crosses her arms and says, "So, Wren and Melissa?" Hanna says, "Weird, right?" Emily says, "Could you tell what he gave her?" Avery says, "No. She didn't seem happy about it." Hanna says, "I'm wondering if Ian will be." Avery looks at Emily and says, "How you holdin' up?" Emily says, "Great. Ever since I got that fake scholarship letter my mom thinks I can do no wrong. I'm living a lie I didn't even tell." Hanna says, "Leave it to A to make you feel bad about your mom feeling good." Spencer comes out and tells the girls that the ring's gone and Spencer says, "I can't believe it's gone." Hanna says, "At least you got your money back." Spencer holds up the horseshoe and says, "Am I supposed to give her this? I stole it, I actually stole my sister's wedding ring." Then all their phones beep and they check it and it's from A. Avery reads, "'Just my luck diamonds are a girl's best friend.' -A" They all look around until Avery sees Spencer looking at something and she follows her gaze just as the rest of the girls do and they see a painted sign that says, "Someone's watching you so look your best..."
