"so.. you know heeseung right?.."

jake only tilted his head at the sudden question, why would he ask that?

"of course i know heeseung.. why wouldn't i? we've talked a few times.. plus, he's best friends with our friends' boyfriends~~" jake said jokingly, oblivious as to what daniel was trying to say.

daniel only sighed, looking around the streets, he seemed to really be considering what he should say, which worried jake.

"right, well.. i kind of accidentally heard something... i don't know if it's true but- this is one of the options."

"just get to point daniel." jake said, his voice now sounding just as serious. daniel only hesitantly nodded, "okay. i heard heeseung likes you."

what?? am i hearing him right?...

jake honestly thought it was a joke so his first reaction was to laugh but once he noticed that his friend was very serious, his laughter slowly died down, it left an awkward silence.

jake sighed and shook his head, "that doesn't make sense.. heeseung barely even talks to me."

daniel nodded, looking at jake as if he was dumb. "hm.. well, wouldn't him liking you explain why he doesn't talk to you much? he must be too shy to tell you."

jake hummed, looking down at his feet now.
he never had anyone like him before so he wasn't exactly sure how to feel about it.

he always imagined what it'd be like if sunghoon did have the same feelings as him...

but never did he think that heeseung- out of all people would like him.

"so.. what does that have to do with me getting over sunghoon?"
jake sort of knew what daniel was suggesting by telling him this new information.. but again, he didn't know what to do.

daniel smiled reassuringly and patted jakes shoulder, "the idea was for.. you to try to get with heeseung?.." he said it as if it was a question.

jake looked at him with a blank expression, sure it wasn't a horrible idea... but isn't that a little harsh for heeseung?

if he found out jake used him to get over sunghoon.. that would probably hurt him.
jake didn't want to do that to him.

just as jake was about to deny, daniel spoke again, "i know what you'll say hyung- you don't want to hurt heeseung. who just innocently likes you.. but i'm not saying you have to use him! what i'm saying is.. what if you actually start to like him? then.. you won't need to worry about sunghoon! i can tell heeseung is a great guy.. maybe you'll be happy with him!" he exclaimed, reading jakes mind.

it seemed like daniel really thought this whole thing out which made jake wonder how long the boy really knew that heeseung likes him..

he decided not to ask.

jake just gave him a small smile, "i'll consider it dani.. but for now. i'm so exhausted and we have class tomorrow." he said, patting his friend on the head.

daniel smiled happily, he was just glad that jake had somewhat agreed with him. "okay, let's go~"
