"JAKE CAN WE PLEASE CHILL FOR JUST A SECOND? i swear- my legs are about to collapse after how much i've been chasing after you!"

jake laughed loudly and shook his head at his friend, who he could only think was hilarious now even if he did have a 'very' serious face on.. he only looked adorable. as always.

they had already left the club, yes.
but that was after lots and lots of shots.. jake got carried away for sure and no matter how much jungwon had tried to pry the drinks out of his hands.. well- it was a fail.

so now, jungwon was stuck following jake around this park that they came across— a whole block away from the bar and his car.. jungwon was already anticipating the walk back. but he wasn't that upset as he was too busy thinking of how he could've had more fun tonight hanging out with jay- not babysitting his drunk friend.

but, he knew jake probably needed him for a reason.

jake giggled and ran over to the swing set like a child, quickly sitting on it and swinging.
jungwon stopped in his steps, breathing as if he was out of breath and stared at his friend, his hands on his hips as if he was a disappointed mother.

"wow. you're definitely a goner." jungwon said to himself whilst jake shook his head with a huge smile on his face.

jungwon sighed quietly and walked over to the bench nearby, still in looking distance so that he could watch jake.

after at least 10 minutes of jake having fun literally by himself, he finally stopped swinging and walked over to jungwon. he seemed a bit more sober but jungwon knew he was still very drunk- he wouldn't sober up that fast.

he smiled brightly and sat next to his friend, putting his arm around him.
jungwon only sighed as if he was annoyed but didn't take his arm away, staring at him curiously instead.

"so are you going to tell me what you're upset about.. or?..."
jungwon suddenly asked, making jake look at him weirdly.
he definitely wasn't able to exactly comprehend what he said but he knew he wasn't really THAT drunk. despite how much he had drank, he somehow was still aware of the reason of why he drank so much.

"w-what do you mean? i just wanted to have fun tonight~" jake said, lying for sure as he leaned his head against jungwons.
jungwon stayed for a moment, smiling a little to himself but moved his head away and stared at him seriously.
"jake. you only drink like that when you want to forget something. or you're upset."

jungwon sighed and softly patted jakes leg, "i'm disappointed that you'd think that your friend wouldn't know your drinking habits." he playfully whined making jake stare at him with a frown on his face.

"you're right. i-i have a problem." jake mumbled, slightly slurring his words because of his current alcohol intake.
jungwon still carefully listened to him, willing to help in any way that he could.

"hm well.. what is it jake?"

jake smiled and took his arm off jungwons shoulders so now he had them in his lap, fumbling with his fingers like he always did when nervous- why was he nervous? he didn't know either.

"i have a HUGE problem. basically.. i'm in love with two people. actually, in love might be a stretch. but- i like two people. at the same time!! and the problem is that.. i think they both like me as well!" jake groaned loudly and sank into the bench, nearly falling onto the floor but jungwon pulled him up so that he was sitting normally again.

jungwon wanted to laugh at the sight of drunk jake but he realized that he probably shouldn't, knowing that he was obviously having trouble over this.

"ah i see. i'm pretty sure i can guess who those two people are." jungwon said, trying to lighten up the mood a bit.

jake gasped dramatically and looked at him with his watery eyes, "really??"

jungwon only laughed and quickly nodded his head, "they're heeseung and sunghoon. aren't they?"
jake gasped once again, putting his hand over his mouth. "w-what. sunoo, how did you know??"

jungwon looked at him with an offended expression, about to yell at him but then he remembered that the boy was drunk so it wasn't a big deal.
still, he knew he'd scold him about this once he was sober again.. even if he was the older one.

"i'm jungwon, you dumbass... anyways, why are you struggling so much with them? shouldn't you just choose whoever you like more then?? and i thought sunghoon didn't like you, what happened?? did i miss something?"

jake sighed, and laid his head on jungwons shoulder, closing his eyes as he spoke.

"i know, i'm confused too. sunghoon told me that he might be starting to like me. but i don't know what the hell i'm supposed to do with that information?? like i thought i had everything figured out, i started to like heeseung a lot after we went on a date and everything. but sunghoon just confused everything for me. i know i like him so much still- i don't know what to do." jake pouted to himself and leaned against jungwon more.

jungwon chuckled quietly at his friends cuteness, putting his arm around him, he patting his back reassuringly.
"oh jakey~ this does sound like a big problem you have. from what i'm hearing... you're still in love with sunghoon- but the feelings you're getting for heeseung are stopping you from fully pursuing hoon.. although, i'm not even sure if you actually like heeseung. i mean of course you feel something for him, right?? but i think that you just don't want to hurt him and ruin anything between you to.. if that is the reason then, don't worry about that. heeseung is a nice guy, he would completely understand.."

"oh- have you ever thought of being in a relationship with heeseung?" jungwon asked suddenly which had jake sit up so that he could stare at him.

he squinted his eyes as if he was thinking before looking off into the distance.
"i- i don't think i have... i can't even imagine actually dating heeseung now that i think about it. i mean, he's really sweet. and handsome. and a good kisser. he even buys me ice cream- but oh my.., i've only thought about dating sunghoon."

jake answered cluelessly as he looked back at jungwon.
jungwon laughed, choosing to ignore the part of heeseung being a good kisser as he patted jakes head, "so.. doesn't that kind of help you with who you should choose?" jungwon asked, hoping that jake would sober up a bit so that he could remember this at least. or else it'd all be useless.

jake took a moment until he finally realized, looking back over at jungwon with a relieved smiled on his face. "wow- you're right won! i think i know what to do now." jake smiled brightly as he took a deep breath, he definitely wasn't as drunk as he was earlier.

"woah, you actually remember my name!"

"oh. i was joking earlier. really, i knew you weren't sunoo." jake smiled mischievously, which had jungwon frowning.

"you're so stupid, i hope you know that."

"you're more stupid.. but whatever! let's walk back now. i'm tired."

"ha- you're tired?? really?..." jungwon glared over at jake, more annoyed than he's ever been. jake only laughed as they started walking.
all he knew was that he felt a lot better after their talk,
even if he would only remember the most important part.

also i've decided that i'm going to start posting a new part every saturday. this will help me be more motivated to write and finish parts lol.
