One sided // jakehoon

jake spent the night, doing nothing.
literally.
he managed to pull another all nighter- which wasn't anything new to him- but the problem was that he still didn't feel tired and it was now the next day at 11:00am.

jake didn't even have anything on his thoughts so he didnt know why he wasn't able to fall asleep...
okay maybe he was stuck on watching this random series he found on the tv- but that's besides the point.

jake groaned and pulled himself up off his couch, he decided that since he couldn't sleep yet, he would try and be productive in some way. the only way he could do that today was, choosing to go see sunghoon and question him about last night, also he had asked jake to text him after the date but he never did.

he was so distracted that he even turned his phone on 'don't disturb', which seemed to be pretty fine because when he finally turned the phone back on there was no calls or texts. which did disappoint him slightly, he expected his extra friend group to worry about his absence.

well, there was maybe 1 text from heeseung saying goodnight. but that was it.

jake drove to sunghoons house after taking a quick shower and putting on some comfortable clothes for the day.

he didn't even think to message sunghoon to warn him that he was coming over. he just wanted to show up, feeling too lazy to even text him as easy as that action actually is.

as jake arrived at his place, he parked the car and walked up to the door.
he took a deep breath and carefully knocked on the door, weirdly he wasn't feeling as nervous as he usually did when meeting up with sunghoon. he felt more calm this time.

to his surprise, sunghoon was shirtless once he answered the door.

jakes first reaction was to widen his eyes in surprise of course. his eyes even found their way to look at his chest no matter how hard he tried not to.
his second reaction was to quickly look away, flustered by his own thoughts once again.

he definitely never thought that this would be the first time he'd see a shirtless sunghoon. even if he did imagine it quite a bit.. he still didn't expect it.

he looked down at the grass, fumbling with his fingers nervously. he didn't understand why sunghoon wasn't responding yet.
but he realized, he didn't even say anything himself.

"oh, this grass is very nice.. really beautiful honestly."

okay, maybe it wasn't the best first thing to say- and it might've made it even more obvious that he was nervous seeing sunghoon like that, or hopefully he would just take it as a joke.

sunghoon chuckled, earning jake to quickly look back over at him. it looked everything in him to keep his eyes on his face. everything.

"ah, sorry jake. i didn't expect you to show up like this.. here- come in and i'll get a shirt on~" sunghoon smiled softly, pulling the door open for jake. he raised an eyebrow curiously, but he walked inside his place, looking everywhere but at sunghoon.

jake wasn't sure if sunghoon had noticed his weird behavior or not.. but he definitely seemed like he did, by how he walked over to his room laughing to himself.
he definitely noticed.

"so what brings.. you over to my home?" sunghoon asked curiously, sitting down on the couch beside jake who was still busy trying to burn the image of sunghoon without a shirt out of his mind. even though he had a whole sweatshirt on now.

he blinked his eyes quickly and smiled sheepishly, "oh, just wanted to hangout with you because i was bored." it wasn't a complete lie, but it wasn't really the truth either.
