3rd Person Pov

Giyuu stood at the gates of the Eckhart Duchy.

The three males of the Eckhart stood before him.

Penelope stood behind them, barely holding back tears.

It was the end of his stay at the Duchy and so the time for him to leave had arrived.

All four of the Eckharts wore a different expression.

The Duke stared at him with a somewhat respectful face.

Derrick's face was devoid of any emotion.

Penelope finally burst into silent sobs.

Reynold on the other hand, glared at him challengingly. Although, there was a hint of doubt in his eyes.

"Please relay our gratitude to the Her Majesty The Queen." - Duke

Giyuu nodded at him before replying.

"I shall express your regards. If the Duchy is ever in a pickle, I shall be glad to be of help." - Giyuu

"Please do visit our humble abode at least once. It may not be able to compete with the beauty of Eorka but I assure you that it is worthwhile." - Giyuu

Penelope furiously nodded in the background though none of the Eckharts noticed.

"I'll try to visit you! In return you must also visit me! You have to come back okay?!" - Penelope

He nodded at her.

"Thank You for your hospitality." - Giyuu

The Eckharts save for Penelope turned around and walked away.

Penelope walked up to Giyuu and wrapped her arms around his torso.

She knew that a lady should not hug a man.

But he was the only one who showered her with warmth which was ironic since Giyuu is usually cold and distant.

He was also the first friend she had and now that he was leaving, she was unsure when they would meet next.

"I'll miss you!" - Penelope

She held onto him tightly as the tears continued to fall from her eyes.

Hesitantly, Giyuu wrapped his arms around her.

"I enjoyed our time together." - Giyuu

Slowly they pulled away and Penelope wiped her tears away.

He then smiled at her before turning around and leaving.

She stood still until Giyuu was out of sight.

She sighed before returning to her chambers.

Sitting in her room by the window, she stared at the beautiful pink and orange sky with a hint of nostalgia.

Her fingers played with the necklace that rested on her neck.

Her face colored as she remembered that day.

That was almost three years ago.

Today was her 18th Birthday Banquet.

She had adorned a beautiful whitish turquoise dress.

It matched her eyes and necklace.

Her hair was tucked into a low braided bun, adorned with white roses.
