the laughter of people echoes in the dining hall, as everyone had wine glasses in their hands after the delightful dinner. y/n was enjoying the company of the kims and jimin. they made sure to make her feel welcomed and comfortable. jimin shared the funny incidents of him and taehyung while finishing the wine in the glass in one go. 

taehyung and y/n were sitting next to each other, with jimin beside y/n. she was listening to the tales as she felt a large palm engulf her small one. already knowing who it is, she looked beside to meet taehyung's face, who kept a straight face but to no avail, a smile crept up on his face as he stole a glance at her from looking at his friend, jimin enthusiastically narrate the happenings.

"tonight is such a memorable one, especially with our lovely y/n here. i wish we could capture this pleasant moment," taehyung's father announced. "your wish must be granted then, mr. kim. excuse me for a bit, i need to get something from my car. " with that, jimin hurried off outside the hall. after a few minutes, he came back with a camera in his hands. "let's capture this sweet night in pictures, shall we?"

the parents stayed seated as the younger people stood beside them, smile plastered on their faces as they posed for the picture, in front of the staff who was clicking the picture for them. taehyung smoothly swept his arms around y/n's waist as she stood there frozen, still maintaining that smile for the picture. jimin was giggling while looking into the camera, aware of whatever his friend is trying to do.

rule no.2- make sure to be physically affectionate, respectfully.

"let's have the lovebirds have a picture together too!" mrs. kim chirped, clapping enthusiastically. y/n blushed at the name given by his mom.  "mrs. kim, aren't you the smart little mom of my friend." jimin whispered lightly, winking at taehyung's mom playfully."jiminie, they might hear you!" his mom quietly scolded jimin.

jimin held y/n's shoulder and made her sit next to taehyung, who was seated down by his mother. taehyung smirked, knowing what they were trying to do and played along. everybody moved away from the frame and cheered them up, "aw, they look so adorable and perfect together!" "they look like a couple already, i can't wait to see them get married!"

y/n's eyes wide opened, being the center of attention for the compliments, she didn't even realize taehyung moving his hand until they were around her shoulders. her heart beat rapidly, worried that taehyung may feel it as well. both smiled brightly at the camera and looked at each other at the same time, resulting the delicate moment of looking into each other's eyes being captured.

the night finally came to an end and taehyung stood in front of the gate to personally see his guest off, as they didn't get to spend much time alone or talk. they both walk out in silence, not an awkward one but a peaceful one. y/n turned to face taehyung and bid farewell, "thank you for having me today, i really liked being with everyone tonight." y/n said in a soft manner.

"i missed you and enjoyed your company, too sad you can't spend more time with me. i didn't make you uncomfortable anyhow, did i?" taehyung muttered. "no, not at all. i liked how you acted." she giggled with a bright face and shiny eyes. 

she's looking so beautiful right now, it drives me crazy.

taking this time alone as an opportunity, taehyung pulled her in a hug for the last time. he really misses having her around after seeing her off. y/n was shocked by the sudden contact, but then hugged him back, indicating that kim taehyung never makes her uncomfortable. the hug felt warm and cozy but after a while, they pulled away with red tints on their cheeks. "i-i should get going, goodbye." y/n hurried off her car which was waiting for her outside. inside the car, she covered her face in shyness and smiled to herself. the smell of his cologne lingering around her nose.

meanwhile taehyung stood there as he watched the car go, with a huge wave of happiness hitting him. jimin came up behind him and let out a cough to let his friend know of his presence. taehyung turned to face his friend and something catches jimin's eyes as he laid them on taehyung's face. with concern, jimin asks his friend, "taehyung, are you okay? did she slap you? why is your face is so red?"
