taehyung excitedly ran into his room after getting a letter from the mail, which was allegedly sent by his y/n. too thrilled to read the first letter he got from the love of his life. hurriedly he shut his door with his heart thumping out of his chest.  slowly he opened the letter and the smile on his face dropped as it read. 

let's not see each other anymore, kim taehyung. we are not for each other.

with that, everything went wrong, taehyung suddenly felt his chest tightening and felt immense pain. trying to stay still on his knees, he walked out of his room to get to y/n and get an explanation about what happened suddenly.

taehyung hurriedly entered the mansion as he met a young maid who asked, "may i help you sir?" "i need to see y/n." "i'm sorry sir but are you kim taehyung?" he furrows his eyebrows and replies, "yes but why?"

"young miss has given us strict orders about not wanting to meet you, i apologize." she gave him an apologetic look. taehyung was to say shocked was an understatement.

"l-listen, i need to talk to her. it's very important-" the maid interrupted him, " sir, please comply, i request you, or else it will be my job i'll be losing."

taehyung glared at her and took a deep breathe before leaving , "okay."

y/n's fingers moved, playing the keys on the piano in the eerie room, as moonlight filled in. she tried to find peace from her doubtful thoughts that were keeping her awake at night. the tears were unstoppable as the memories that were spent together came back. in front of everyone, y/n puts on a smile, sits and look pretty, being the mature person like everyone except her to be. but behind all that, lies a fragile sensitive girl who just wants someone close to her, only to her self. she never thought of falling in love with someone ever in life, let alone so quickly.

but now here she is, so madly in love, that it drives her crazy when she thinks about losing him.

the anonymous mail was about taehyung not being a faithful person and the person who wrote to her was a girl named irene who was also deceived by him and didn't want y/n's life to get ruined. it had pictures showing him and irene being very close. the girl begged y/n to leave taehyung as irene still loved him and wanted to bring him back to his right senses. in one of the pictures, there were earrings irene wore, that were identical to the ones she found in taehyung's car.

this broke y/n badly and made her bitter from the inside. jaehyun watched from outside of the room, holding a tray of food for his young miss as she was starving herself the whole day.

her parents watched her in concern as she quietly ate her breakfast without a word. her mom tried to lighten her mood or get her to talk by mentioning someone who usually brings a smile to her face, "so, how is everything going on between you and tae-"

"mom, i don't want to talk about him. please don't ever talk about him infront of me." y/n let out weakly as she tried to give her parents a clue that she doesn't want to hear his name. after a while, she realized that her way of speaking was not fine and spoke up again, "i'm sorry for speaking like that, mom and dad. but i really don't feel like talking about it right now. i'll be taking my leave." y/n got up and bowed, before turning to leave.

"y/n dear, don't leave like that-" her father stopped her as he watched his ray of sunshine walk away, "let her be, she needs time to handle whatever that has happened to her."
