"epitome of love" k.th x reader

it was 6:30 in the morning, as y/n was wide awake in her room, reading a book as she engulfed herself in the warm blanket, in the chilly weather. the sounds of birds chirping greets her. she was interrupted in her reading, by a knock and a voice from the other side of the door. "y/n, are you awake?" it was taehyung, who also happened to be an early bird. she stood up quickly before checking herself on the mirror and opened the door for taehyung, "good morning, dear fiancé." taehyung chuckled at her choice of words and greeted back, "good morning, wife to be."

"what brings your lovely presence here?" she simpered. "i wanted to ask you, if you wanted to go to the lake with me?" he proposed, "i'd love to," y/n answered. taehyung dramatically put his hand infront of y/n, asking for hers, "m'lady," y/n laughed out before before gladly accepting his hand.

they were walking together, hand in hand. the sun rising and it shined over the pair and reflected on the lake. feeling y/n's hand get cold, taehyung put it inside his jacket's pocket. y/n felt like a princess, by the way he treated her and made her feel. soon, they stopped infront of the lake, taehyung making y/n face him. "i have something for you, y/n." "what is it?" a bit of excitement was evident in y/n's face but she remained composed.

from his pocket, taehyung took out an ornament, before showing it to y/n. y/n had her eyes on it, looking at the blue pendant which was the prettiest thing she had ever seen, "do you like it?" taehyung asked nervously, not knowing if y/n would like it or not, "it's the most beautiful thing, taehyung." and with that, taehyung felt relieved. "i'm so happy that you like it, would you like me to help you put it on?" "yes, please"

y/n turned her back to him, before bringing her long hair to the front. taehyung sighed nervously before putting it around her carefully. after he was done, y/n turned to face him, "how does it look on me." "perfect." taehyung smirked as she slightly blushed. he suddenly pulled her closer before wrapping his arms arms around her waist, as she gasped, her hands rested on his chest.

"i have to say something." taehyung looked at her eyes, trying to calm her down. she nodded a little, "choi y/n, i'm in love with you." y/n could feel taehyung's heart beat in her palms, and she lost herself in his eyes, "do you love me, my dear y/n?"

"i love you too, kim taehyung" she breathed out, not knowing since when she had held it in. taehyung's face lighted up in felicity, he leaned in forward to y/n's face as y/n closed her eyes in anticipation. she felt a soft delicate touch at her forehead and opened her eyes to see him moving back to take a look at y/n's delicate face
