their trip finally came to an end, as they are now on their way back. jungkook driving, taehyung beside him. jimin was sitting behind between y/n and linda. jimin truly loved their presence and had grown closer to the pair. on the other hand, jungkook and taehyung settled on better terms than earlier, understanding each other.

as they reached the spot where they would part ways, it was already dark. jungkook turned back to see the two ladies laying their heads on jimin's shoulders, with their eyes shut. jungkook found it heart-warming to see them bond like that, "these little girls need to sleep a lot, don't they?" jungkook said, making taehyung look back too. "they sure do."

y/n woke up the next morning, looking at the something resting on her chest as soon as that. her hand brushed around the beautiful pendant that shined in blue. she got out of the bed and got ready for the day. 

she went to the dining hall, and greeted her parents, "welcome back! how was your trip, y/n?" her mom asked enthusiastically, "it was lovely, mom." "i missed seeing your lovely face. dear." her father lightly muttered, sulking about how long the days felt without having a glimpse of her. y/n giggled, "come on, dad. it was just a few days."

"nice pendant, by the way. is it new?" her mom looked at the present from the fiancé. "y-yeah, it was a gift..." she muttered. her parents exchanged looks and understood who the gift was from. "how is it going between you and taehyung, honey? are you guys getting along well?" mr.choi asked and wriggled his eyebrows at y/n, teasing her. y/n's eyes widened, quickly looked away, not meeting her parents' eyes. 

of course dad, how could you leave that out.

"yeah, we are doing good." she tried to suppress the little smile forming on her lips.

more than good dad, we are going perfect!

taehyung was getting out of the school building when suddenly he felt someone wrapped their arms around his waist from behind. he quickly pulled the arms away and looked back to see one of his classmates, "irene? what do you think you're doing?" 

"what does it look like, taehyung?" irene asked him back with a smirk. taehyung grew frustrated and let it out, " listen irene, i have told you multiple times that i don't have any kind of feelings for you. i am in love with someone. please understand and leave me alone."

irene glared at him and fumed in anger, "do you really think you can get away from me? i won't let you be anyone else's. you're mine! if anyone tries to come in our way, i'll make sure to get rid of her. just wait and see, kim taehyung!"

"you aren't doing anything, irene. if you do, then you'll have to face consequences, you hear that?" taehyung didn't want to involve y/n into this. they just confessed to each other a few days ago. "we'll see, love." irene strutted her way to her car, while taehyung looked at her, disgusted by her guts.
