linda broke into the room before finding y/n and throwing herself in her arms sobbing, "linda? what happened? why are you crying?" y/n was, to say confused would be an understatement. linda never cries like this, not when she was so happy a few hours ago when talking about going to surprise arthur, her lover, by visiting him.
y/n patted her cousin's head before trying to get her to talk again, "linda, it's okay. tell me." linda sniffed and stood straight, wiping her mascara smeared eyes, "a-arthur, i went to see him and... h-he was kissing someone!" she said before breaking down into tears again and closing her eyes with her hands.
y/n's heart broke at the devastated sight of her friend. she thought she finally found someone just to be heart broken by arthur. does everything that looks pretty have to become ugly when we start to get closer to it? arthur seemed so in love with linda, was it all an act? earlier when linda used to tell her about arthur, y/n thought of taehyung and their relationship.
could it be that taehyung may also turn out like this?
y/n brushed off those peculiar thought away, and focused on giving linda the comfort and support she needs the most during this time.

taehyung heard about linda's situation from jungkook and felt very unhappy for linda. he saw the love she had for her beau in her eyes, when she spent hours blabbering about him. during the trip, he found a very nice and sweet friend in linda. therefore, he felt bad for not being in the place for being able to do anything to help her.
jungkook's heart clenched at the sight of his childhood friend breaking down as she revealed about her heart break to him. linda was like a little sister of him in whom jungkook found home. when his house felt empty due to the absence of his busy parents, linda and her family filled those voids beautifully. jungkook wanted to find arthur and bury him alive for being the sole reason of linda's despair.
on the other hand, jimin found it all too familiar and believed in easy love a little less than before. he knows that it isn't so easy to find true love at all. then again, if you try too hard to find it, you will lose yourself to find love in someone else. let love come to you by itself and if you think it did, then cherish it beautifully without getting lost, not obsess over it too much to the point where you tear the strings with yourself. just feel everything you feel gracefully without regretting one bit of those moments earlier.
