jimin was sipping on his drink while he witnessed the two men infront of him, laughing and joking around with each other like pals. never in his life, did he imagine seeing these two act as friends, "good lord, please don't let it be a dream."

jungkook and taehyung were getting closer and understanding of each other, since their trip. both of them found a friend in each other. jungkook himself, invited the other two for a quick meet. "your café would be a good place for students, did you ever think of making it a study café? " taehyung casually asked.

"uh not really, i don't like to have people who are studying around me, it's so stressful. only god knows how much i dislike those thick books." jungkook pulled out a disgusted face, making the other two chuckle at his childish remark. "awh, must take a lot of effort to get 4/100 in english language, jungkookie?" jimin teased.

taehyung gasped in shock, "jungkook, he's joking right? who would actually get 4/100," he looked over at jungkook, who was throwing daggers through his eyes to jimin, "right?-" "anyways i'm very busy, you guys have to get out real quick and i have to get back to work. bye! see you later!" "hey! but let me at least finish my drink, though!" jungkook ushered the two to the way outside hurriedly, almost dragging jimin by his neck by mistake, obviously.

i couldn't choke jimin in front of taehyung, he would serve as a witness then.

taehyung entered the living hall, his eyes meeting the two familiar handsome faces. "look who do we have here?" jin got up from the couch to hug taehyung, "what a pleasant surprise!" taehyung hugged back and pulled away. "what brings my lovely cousins, here?" namjoon smiled at taehyung and sat back after shaking hands.

why are these snakes here?

"well, you know there's a kim who has a wedding to be attended. all the cousins must gather there." namjoon talked about jisoo, their older cousin who was going to get married very soon. jin is jisoo's older brother and namjoon is another cousin. they all share the same grandparents.

taehyung never grew a liking towards his cousins for no specific reason, he just got bad aura from them and couldn't bring himself to become close with them. taehyung never shows any dislike as they never actually did anything wrong, but still the thought of interacting with the kim cousins irritated him.

"sure, i'll be there for jisoo's wedding. any important things i need to know for the wedding?" he inquired, making sure to not leave any important notices or information, but in reality he couldn't care less. everything he did was just an act of formality. "ah yes, there is. you need to bring a date with you, don't forget." jin winked at him.

uh huh? my dear y/n it is then.

at the same time, mrs. kim entered the hall, with a huge smile on her face. "taehyung! you should take y/n with you!" she chirped. "y/n? choi y/n? his fiancé right?" jin asked. taehyung nodded, "well, how do you know about it?" taehyung didn't expect the news the spread around so early, "oh come on, taehyung. the kim and choi family are influential enough to have spread any kind of news like these like wild fire." namjoon smirked at his cousin.

"y/n is such a pretty and perfect girl for my taehyung. i like her a lot, and i'm pretty sure taehyung does more than just liking her, right son?" "mom! please don't talk like that." taehyung warned, ears turning red.

yes, mother. i do way more than liking her. let the whole world know.

"well, choi y/n is a true beauty, isn't she? i was thinking of marrying her myself if taehyung didn't, haha." namjoon let out a laugh and joked. taehyung was enraged by his cousin's careless words and couldn't stay quite, "well sad for you dear cousin, i'm going to make sure to marry her" he forced a stoic smile on his. both of them held intense eye contact and refused to look away, the smile on both faces faded away slowly, slightly glaring into each other.

how dare he? what does he even think of himself?

jin senses the tension in the room and breaks the silence, "i think we should get going now. right, namjoon? we are kind of late already." they all got up and the cousins got ready to leave, "see you and y/n at the wedding then, tae?" namjoon couldn't stop pushing his buttons, trying his best to piss taehyung. they shook hands again and namjoon raised his eyebrows as he felt taehyung's grip tighten around his palm. "of course, you will see me with my y/n, soon." jin patted taehyung taehyung's shoulder, before bidding farewell.

"both of them are so handsome, right?" his mother muttered.

"its in the genes of the kims, mom."
