And, back at the Festival...
Everyone there was having fun, and, doing a lot of different things.
As Cade and Marianna were dancing, people were walking by them.
And, then someone saw them.
It was Korin.
She had been looking for Cade at the party.
And, once she found him, she wanted to see him.
She was hoping that his other friend was there.
So, that she could meet her.
And, as she stood there, and, looked around, she saw Cade.
And, as she looked over at him, she saw him dancing with a girl.
And, she knew that that must be the girl he was talking about.
So, Korin started walking over to them.
And, as she was walking over to them, Cade saw her.
And, he knew that she was going to wanna meet Marianna.
He knew that because he was reading her mind.
So, as Cade saw her walking over, Marianna looked over, and, saw her, too.
But, she didn't know who the girl was.
And, before Korin got to them, Cade told Marianna something.
"Now, I should probably warn you." said Cade.
"About what?" Marianna asked.
"Do you see that girl walking over here?" Cade asked.
"Yeah." said Marianna.
"Well, she's a friend of mine.
And, she saw me going over to see you.
And, asked why I was there.
So, I told her about you." said Cade.
"You did?" said Marianna.
"Yeah." said Cade.
Then he told her that she was wanting to meet her.
"And, when she comes over here.
I know that she's going to wanna meet you." said Cade.
"How do you know that?" Marianna asked.
"Because I was reading her mind." Cade explained.
Korin then walked over to them.
"I've been looking for you.

You know." said Korin as she walked up to them.
"I know..." said Cade.
Korin then looked at Cade's friend.
And, she wondered about her.
"So, you must be Cade's girlfriend." said Korin.
"I didn't say that!" said Cade sounding defensive.
Marianna then laughed.
"I'm Korin.
Cade's friend." said Korin.
"I'm Marianna." said Marianna.
"So, you're the reason I haven't seen Cade in awhile.
I've been wondering where he's been." said Korin.
"It hasn't been that long." said Cade.
And, Marianna just smiled.
"Cade also told me that you're Human." said Korin.
"He did?" said Marianna.
"Yeah." said Korin.
Marianna then wondered if Korin was a Vampire.
So, she asked...
"Are you a Vampire, too?" Marianna asked.
"Uh, no...
I'm not a Vampire." said Korin.
"Are you Human?" Marianna wondered.
"Well, kind of..." said Korin.
"What do you mean?" Marianna asked.
"Look..." said Korin as she pointed to her Costume.
Her Costume was a Mermaid.
And, she was one, too.
"You're a Mermaid?" said Marianna.
"Yes, I am..." said Korin.
"Really?" said Marianna.
"Yeah.
See." said Korin as she showed her the scales on her hands to her.
And, as Korin showed her hands to Marianna, she saw her scales.
And, when she looked at her scales, she thought that it was really cool.
"Cool." said Marianna.
