JADENs POV:
I wait impatiently for her.Once I hear the door knock,I sprint to the front door.
"hey"she says,looking directly in my eyes.
"Hi"I stare back at her.
I know it's creepy but I just can't help it.
I don't know why.
"Uhm wanna come in?"I ask
"That's what you should've said last time I was here."she giggles.
"Probably,but it was more fun that way."
As she goes inside and takes her shoes off,I remember that my parents are sleeping.
"Hey I think we should be a little quieter,you know my parents are sleeping.As well as Jayla,Javon and Daelo."
"Of course.I haven't seen Daelo in a while.How is he?"
"He's pretty good."
She smiles at me.
"Wanna go up to my room?"
She's skeptical at first but then says:"Sure."
We start going up the stairs as quiet as we can,hoping that my parents won't hear us.
Once we get to my room I feel relived as fuck.
Like I don't even know what my parents would've thought if they saw both of us,together at night,alone.
"I've never actually seen your room. And the morning after the party doesn't count!"she laughs.
"Really?"I ask,even though I know the answer.
"Yup,you always said that a horrid creature like me couldn't enter your room."
"Oh but with that I meant that you were too cute and sweet."I say ironically.
She just starts laughing.Loudly.
And for a second it seems like the world has stopped,just to listen to her laugh,which(if I have to be honest)seems like the most beautiful thing I've ever heard,for scandalously more than a second.
Once she's finished laughing,she sits down on the bed.
"Wanna watch a movie?"I ask while sitting down next to her.
"Only if it's a romcom!"she answers.
"God here we go again.See that's what I meant by too cute and sweet.It's too much and if you go on like this I might die."
Her eyes widen and I immediately understand that she got it wrong.
"Not because I like you!Ew that's disgusting.Because it's just terrible."
"mhm."she says.
I don't know what that's supposed to mean but okay...I guess?
"Wanna watch the notebook?"
"absolutely not"I state."I've heard about that movie."
"You've just heard about it?"she yells.
"shhh!First be quiet!second yes,just heard about it."
"Okay so I guess we'll have to watch the notebook."
I lay down on my bed and so does she.
Okay I'm ready to find out what the notebook is all about.
