Seokjin was taking up orders from the customers when he saw jungkook enter.
- sorry hyung took me long, that customer was being an asshole.
The customers seated started staring at seokjin.
"Oh no no, he didn't mean that, please excuse him" seokjin said awkwardly.
- Jungkook-ah get to work, I need help.
- On it.

Jungkook was working in the kitchen whereas Seokjin was serving. They had hired a few people to help too but they were never regular so they ended up doing everything just the two of them.

Seokjin had not slept enough and he wasn't doing his job quite well. Jungkook had noticed it.
- hyung, are you okay?
- huh? Get some coke from the fridge. Seokjin was preoccupied therefore ended up ignoring jungkook's question.
- uh yeah, I'll get it. Jungkook walks towards the fridge.
He hands over the coke to seokjin, trying to ask again but before he could speak anything seokjin walked away.

After a while when the customers were little less. Jungkook forced seokjin to sit down and have some chicken.
- Jungkook-ah why are you forcing, I'm not hungry.
- eat it, you don't seem good hyung, what's wrong?
- nothing is! Seokjin looks down letting out a soft sigh.
- I've known you for long now. I know something's wrong.
- we'll talk about it later. There still are a  few customers.
- you sure you'll talk right? Jungkook confirms with the elder.
- I have to. Seokjin holds eye contact with jungkook for second before breaking it.

Jungkook walks over to Seokjin's room.
- hyung.
- come here, sit. Seokjin made place next to himself. I have to tell you something.
Jungkook sits next to him and wonders what Seokjin had to tell him.
- yes, go on hyung.

Seokjin holds jungkook's hand before he starts talking.
- our parents are separating. Seokjin pressed his lips into a thin line as he looked down.
- w..what? t..this this c..can't be true!
- It is. Dad called me a few days back, to inform about it.
- b..but w..why? Whyy? Jungkook couldn't believe it.
They were always so good, they loved eachother so much, what went wrong between them? He was in denial of them separating.

- dad cannot provide the basic money needed for managing household things. Seokjin went on.
- what do you mean? Weren't they doing well after they put up the restaurant?
- it's the same as here, none of the workers were regular, but always wanted their full pay and you know dad right, he used to give them. He was frustrated and he sold it, without letting mom know.
- HE WHAT??? ughhh dad. Jungkook whined.
- He has been paying for our college too. Mom doesn't want to live poor anymore. She probably must have found someone better.

Jungkook went silent. He didn't say anything after.
Seokjin was too emotional and he was sobbing already. Whereas jungkook was processing the whole situation.

Jungkook walks towards the window for some air. He felt suffocated.
Seokjin follows him with a glass of water. He rubs jungkook's back giving him the water.
- maybe we should find some other source of income so that we won't be a burden to them. Jungkook sobs.
- Jungkook-ah, I know it's much harder for you than for me b..but don't worry, It'll all be fine. You have me. Always. I will never leave you alone, you know that right. Seokjin sniffles.

- "hyung" Jungkook hugged seokjin. I know I have you hyung, please don't cry.
Jungkook's voice cracks as he speaks. He wipes the tears rolling down Seokjin's cheeks.
- I should be the one wiping your tears.
Seokjin speaks with a muffled tone.
- hyung, we are enough for each other. We will get through this together.
They hug each other again and stay like that for a while. That hug was like an assurance that none of them was going to leave the other alone, ever.

- let's go see them next week. Seokjin pats jungkook.
- hmm. Jungkook nods.
