It was music period, Jimin was practicing singing in the class with 10 other kids there. He always thought he was lacking with his vocals, so he was trying to improve.

Their music professor entered with another person who nobody knew. Jimin wondered who this person was. He looked amazing. He who had been listening to Jimin sing, approached him.
- you have a lovely voice.
- uh. Jimin chuckled nervously touching the back of his hair.

The professor introduced the person to everyone present there.
He's chanyeol! He's an amazing rapper, songwriter, producer. He's going to be selecting 2 students for his new project.
He'll be observing you guys closely during every music lesson. Make sure you do your best.

The professor left leaving chanyeol with the students.
After a small introduction by everyone, they started practicing again.
Chanyeol was so impressed by jimin's voice. He stood beside him, listening to more of him.
The other kids were jealous because of how Jimin got all the attention.

Since he was a dance major none of them included him much in their activities. He didn't really care though. He was very shy because he never got so much appreciation for his voice.

Their class ended, Jimin was keeping the notes in his bag, zipping it back up when chanyeol came up to him again.
- Jimin!
- uh oh, uh yes? He said with surprised smile.
- I want you to sing for my new project.
- uh but sir, weren't you gonna select after a week?
- yes, but I'm sure I want you!
- uh, oh! Well I'm not that good of a singer actually! He said awkwardly. I'm a dance major so...
- But you have an amazing voice, I need you to sing for me.
- uh...okay well can let you know in some time?
- sure take your time!
- thankyou sir!
- you can call me chanyeol! Give me a call here! I'm looking forward to it. Chanyeol said handing him his card with a smile.

Jimin was so confused. He kept wondering as he walked out of the door to his next class 'Why was he insisting so much? Did he really like my voice? Or was he trying to hit on me?
But why would he try to hit on me, ah no hes way too good looking. Maybe he really wanted me to sing for him. Argh, I need someone to help me here, whom should I ask?' he thought to himself.

He called hoseok but he was busy practicing so they couldn't really talk and then there was taehyung who was busy with his saxophone lessons, so again, he wondered whom should he talk to.

He thought of Yoongi, ofcourse he did. He knew he could help! but he wasn't going to ask after everything happened between them. They had not seen each other after that. After talking to hoseok, Jimin did have the urge to ask Yoongi if he likes him but that would just be stupid because Yoongi clearly said that the kiss they had didn't mean anything.

He then thought of namjoon. Namjoon was genuinely nice. He thought maybe he could help. He kinda did hope that he'd tell him something about yoongi. He searched him on Instagram and texted namjoon.

Hi Namjoon hyung
This is Jimin!
I had some work with you
Do you mind sharing your number?

He waited patiently for his reply.

When namjoon received a text from Jimin, he was very confused and excited to let Yoongi know. But he thought to himself, 'why would he text me instead of hyung. Maybe I should talk to him first then decide if I have to tell hyungg or no.'

Jimin who had been waiting, immediately dialed the number. He was impatient and had to talk about it to someone.

~ hey, what's up?
~ namjoon hyung, is it a good time to talk?
~ yeah!
~ Yoongi hyung isn't around you right?
~ nah, go on tell me what is it!
~ um so...

Jimin talked about it and namjoon was listening. He was ready to encourage Jimin to go for it until he heard the name chanyeol come out of his mouth.

~ wait, come again? Did you say chanyeol?
~ yeah why? Do you know him?
~ uh he's a rapper you said?
~ yeah! I really hoped you would know!
~ yeah I do.
Namjoon's voice was suddenly low and Jimin did notice it.
~ hyung is that a problem?
~ uhh wait, hey I'll call you back later? Yoongi hyung is here!
~ uh sure but hyu..ng uh what do you think should I do?
~ uh I'll tell you when I call you back! Take care jimin!
~ uh sure hyung.

Yoongi wasn't there! Namjoon had lied! He immediately called yoongi the moment he kept his call with Jimin.

Yoongi was working in his studio. He was pretty focused. When it came to work, he wouldn't let anything affect it. For him making music was everything. He had pure joy doing it.

He didn't quite like anyone disturbing him while he was busy. Namjoon had called him a several times but yoongi had no idea about it.

Namjoon knocked on the door of his studio.
- hyung!
- what is it?
- I've been calling you so much! Please atleast answer my calls.
- why? So that you ask me some randomass questions? To waste my time? Be serious! What do you want?
- can you not be rude to the only friend you have hyung? You don't want me sulking, do you?
- what do you wanttttt?
- it's about Jimin.

Yoongi turned around, paying attention to what namjoon had to say.
- what about him? He asked.
- he wanted help so he called me.
- he called you?
- yes...so
- Really? He raised his eyebrows, surprised and confused.
- hyung listen to me first.
- yeah go on. What did he want help with? Yoongi scoffed.

- yeah so he asked me about this one producer who asked him to sing for him. He loved jimin's voice and wanted him to work on his new project. So Jimin wanted to make sure if it was cool for him to do it. He asked me if I knew the producer somehow.
- So who's the producer? Yoongi asked.
Namjoon looked at yoongi pressing his lips into a thin line.
- Chanyeol.

Yoongi just went silent. Not knowing what to say.
He clicked his tongue, nodding his head.
- well! how did he meet Jimin?
- he went to their college! He was looking for singers.
- hmm.

The room went silent. Namjoon was looking at yoongi and yoongi focused eyes far in the room, into deep thoughts.

- it's been over 5 years hyung, you should let it go! Namjoon said.
- I am not stuck on it! I did let it go long back!
- so do you think you can see him again?
- why would I see him again? He looked back at the monitor.
- well he'll be working with Jimin. Will you not go see him even once?
- why would I? I've got nothing to do with him!
- you kissed each other! Y'all totally like each other! What is wrong with you???
Namjoon said frustrated.
- he doesn't like me! Yoongi says.

Namjoon sighs.

- do you think he should go for it?
- he asked you not me!
- hyung can you stop being a baby?
- let me do my work! Leave.
- fine I'm telling him to go for it!

Yoongi doesn't react at all until namjoon is out of his studio.
The moment the door closes, Yoongi swears grabbing his head.

Chanyeol was back, after 5 fucking years! he didn't know if he wanted to see him again. And then there was Jimin who was probably going to work with him.

Yoongi didn't want that. He didn't like the idea of them working together.
He thought about calling Jimin and telling him not to do it, but who was he to do that? Jimin approached namjoon, not him! Yoongi was sad about it.

He really was frustrated because he hadn't seen Jimin in a while, he had kept himself busy with work but now with this new information he just couldn't seem to focus anymore.
He so wanted to see Jimin!
