Chapter 2: New Enemy - Quantum

Eternal Sailor Moon stood on guard ready to make a move on her enemy. His evil grin alone frightened her, but she knew that she had to defeat him. The girl he had just attacked laid almost dead on the ground with dark, emotionless eyes, just like his. She knew that this was the reality, her dream was coming true, and everything she saw in it was going to happen very soon.

"Sailor Moon...," he said with that menacing grin of his. Sailor Moon's face got even more serious as she stared into his. Luna couldn't do anything but watch.

"W-Who are you...!" she hesitated a bit from the dream she had just remembered again.

"Quantum," he stated. He then stretched his right arm to the side, his hand started to glow with a dark aura, "Darkness...," he pulled it back towards himself and stretched it back out. A small ball of black light appeared in the center of his palm. It grew bigger with a dark blue interior, "...Ravage!" The ball dissolved into black electricity as it shot up into the sky. It formed a monstrous spirit.

It was a black silhouette of the girl, floated in the air like a genie with an outline that was sharp and rugged. It had sharp claws, and a deranged face with big blue-glowing eyes. Quantum stood with his arms crossed behind the creature.

It attacked Sailor Moon, but she was able to dodge it for a while. She was getting tired, so she used her powerful attack.

Sailor Moon took out her Moon Power Tiare, "Silver Moon Crystal Power!" The light from the staff shines onto the spirit but does work.

How could this be? she thought to herself. Her worried expression grew stronger.

"Is that all Sailor Moon?" asked Quantum unimpressed by her power.

Sailor Moon stepped back a bit as he ordered the spirit to attack. She shielded herself with her arms as the spirit went through her body. She couldn't feel anything at first, so she looked up at Quantum, but then a raging pain surged through her body.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!" she screamed in agony and fell to her knees, the spirit vanished. Quantum grinned once more and pick up the girl he had attacked.

Sailor Moon struggled to lift herself. Quantum was now floating above Sailor Moon.

"I'm....I'm not done with you!" she yelled at him passionately.

"Oh, but you are," he replied and flew up even higher. She was too weak to stand, let alone talk, what did he do to her?

"We are interested in you...Sailor Moon," he vanished along with the girl. Sailor Moon transformed back into her civilian form.

"Usagi!" Luna scurried over to her.

"Luna...I told you...I wanted... to be alone...."

"I was worried about you!"

Usagi gripped the ground in pain and frustration. Makoto was walking back home from work when she spotted the two. "Usagi!" she ran over to them.

"Usagi-chan, Luna-chan! What happen?" Makoto kneeled down beside the both of them.

"I'm fine...Makoto-chan..." Makoto looked at Luna from Usagi.

"She was attacked by a new threat," said Luna.

"What?" Makoto exclaimed.

"Makoto-chan, help me...."

"Come on Usagi-chan, we gotta get you back home," Makoto helps Usagi to her feet and the three headed to Usagi's house.
