Chapter 6: Potential Love - Rei

Rei sat down by herself in an unknown cafe, facing the door of the cafe. She rested her head on her arm as she tapped her foot, trying to patiently wait for Minako. She flipped her dark, silky hair and realized that she had her phone with her. Whit it, she dialed Minako's number and the phone rang.

"Hello...!" said Minako.

"Minako, where are you!?"

"Oh Rei-chan how are you?"

"I fine...don't change the subject, where are you?"

"O, I was just about to call about that, I cant come."

"Why?"

"I totally forgot I got another audition and I really can't miss it!"

"Oh great...perfect timing Minako-chan."

"Sorry Rei-chan, I really am, but I'm going to be late if I keep talking, so bye!"

"Wait...Minako!"

Minako hung up.

"Minako-chan!...Ugh...," Rei groaned putting her phone down. She looked around the cafe, looking at all the happy couples. All lovey-dovey, kissing and hugging. It made the cynical Rei sick to her stomach.

"Blah...," she sweatdropped, "I really need a man..."

She looked up and saw a handsome man looking at her. He had beautiful blonde hair, gorgeous green eyes, and a shunning smile. He was so attractive that Rei had started to drool. She wiped her mouth and stood up. Her confidence was 100% as she tided herself up and strides towards the handsome devil. But, before she could get to him and say some cute, or maybe cool nonchalant pick up line, she was pushed out of the way by a girl with red hair that seemed like his girlfriend. She face palmed the floor.

How embarrassing! Both the approach and the fall.

"Could this get any worse," she said gritting her teeth with frustration as she stood to her feet. She turned around to see another man leering at her. His messy brown hair, glasses, and creepy smile horrified her. She was so appalled that she couldn't even stand being on the same side of the cafe with him, so she moved. "I'm not that desperate!" She sat down on a bar stool drinking Coca Cola, sighing.

"Oh Minako, why id you leave!" she sipped some more of her soft drink.

"You waiting for someone?" asked a man standing behind.

"No, just enjoying my boring life...." she sighed again.

"I'm sure a beautiful girl like you doesn't have a boring life."

Rei turned to him. He was so stunning, Rei was almost petrified. A hot guy walking p to her? Could this be a dream? Was it that she fated after seeing that creep that she dreaming of the one?

He had short brown hair, ruby red eyes and a very nice smile to say the least.

"B-Beautiful...!"

"Yeah, and know that I can see your face, your even more stunning," he said. This guy really knew how to win a girl.

"I'm Hino Rei," she put her hand out to shake his. He shook her hand.

"Matasumi Rikuto, it's very nice to meet you Rei-chan."

Rei-chan?!, Rei blushed with excited, she loved the way he said her named.

"Why would you talk to me?" she asked Rikuto.

"You looked a bit lonely, plus I was already interested in you the moment I saw you," he grinned.

"Why, I don't know what to say," Rei said trying to hide her blushing.
