Chapter 18: Prophecy - Sailor Moon

Usagi moved around in the white sheets of her bed. She opened her drowsy eyes and saw that Mamoru was not in the bed. He was in the bathroom. She could hear the faucet running. Usagi turned to her alarm clock, the time was 4:30 a.m. Usagi sat up and blinked with tired eyes and scratched her head. She yawned, looking aimlessly around the room. As she turned she noticed something about her hair. It was white. She had the blink a couple of times to make sure she wasn't still asleep. She wasn't and it was still white. "Ahhhhh!" She screams alerting Mamoru whose in the bathroom half awake, brushing his teeth. He snaps to attention and runs out the bathroom with his toothbrush still in his mouth. 

"Usa--," he took the toothbrush out of his mouth. "Usa-ko, what is it?!" He then notices her hair. "Your hair!"

"I know!" She panics.

Mamoru and a mysterious woman wearing a big hat and sunglasses walked up to Rei, Makoto, Ami, and Minako. "Hey, Mamoru, who's the old lady?" Rei asks.

"Rei, don't be rude," says Ami.

"Oh no, this is--"

"Your grandma?" Makoto interrupts him. She walks up to the woman, "Hello Oba-san," she greets with a smile and notices her hair, "what long and beautiful white hair you have."

The woman gets annoyed, "Mako-chan, it's me!" The woman takes off her glasses and hat to be revealed as Usagi, but with white hair.

"Usagi-chan?!" Makoto exclaimed. Minako sweatdropped and Rei starts to laugh.

"Well, this is awkward...," Minako murmurs.

"What happened to your hair?" Ami asked.

"I don't know when I woke up this morning it was like this." She said as Rei continued to laugh. "Rei, stop laughing at me!" Usagi whined.

"Makoto called you 'Oba-san'!" Rei tried to calm herself down and wiped a tear from her eye. Usagi pouted.

"I'm so sorry Usagi-chan," Makoto was begging for her forgiveness.

"It's fine Mako-chan."

"You still look beautiful, Usa-ko. Even with white hair," Mamoru complimented her.

"Oh Mamo-chan, you're so sweet," Usagi blushed.

"Hey, now that I look at you, it doesn't look too shabby," says Rei.

"Don't joke, Rei-chan."

"I'm not!"

"Do you think Dia will know anything about this?" Minako asks.

"Maybe...," Ami ponders the thought.

Usagi then remembered what the Constellation Sailors told her the night before.

The three silhouettes hovered before Usagi. The group stood, silently waiting in eagerness and anticipation for the latter to reveal themselves. The silhouettes' white coverings started an upward disappearing act as their true forms were revealed from toe to crown. They stepped onto the ground and bowed down to Usagi. "Princess of the moon," the brown-haired one spoke, " we sand present here in honor of you, I, Sailor Ara along with Sailor Crux* and Sailor Vera will be at your command."

"Oh... well that good. Please stand up, it's kind of awkward for me," Usagi laughed hesitantly as the Sailor stood up. "Oh, and please call me Tsukino Usagi, that's my name on Earth."
