The streets of Usagi's neighborhood were as quiet as ever. She walked down the sidewalk in everyday attire, nothing truly special. She had a pink shirt with silver horizontal stripes tucked into a light green skirt, wearing white slippers on her feet. She had her hands behind her back as she skipped along that sidewalk on that quiet street. She did not think much of it, being almost summer and everything. In her hands, she held a yellow envelope addressed to Mamoru.
Usagi stopped suddenly, she looked at her feet, then moved her attention to the sky, which was quite a beautiful blue color. There weren't many clouds and the sun shined with brilliance. Usagi used her hand to put some shade up her face as she looked up at the sun. However, she noticed something new in the sky, the moon? Why was the moon in the sky during the day? Usagi sighed and continued on her walk to the mailbox.
When she got there, she opened the flap and looked at her letter. She kissed it and put it in the mailbox.

Usagi was now at a bowling place with her friends playing a game. Makoto was up next after Minako got a spare. She picked a green bowling ball and went up to the lane. She had her eyes closed, the ball up to her face, focused on getting a strike. She breathed in and then out and opened her eyes. Makoto threw the ball back and then swung it forward with full throttle. The bowling ball sped fast down the waxy lane into the goal hitting every single pin. Makoto jumped up, proud of herself.
"I did it!" she hollered. Her friends clapped and cheered for her.
"Sugoi, Mako-chan," yelled Usagi with her arms up.
"Yeah!" Rei commented. Ami clapped as Rei switched with Makoto.
"Man, being out here with you guys really makes me think of when we had summer break after high school," says Minako as Rei rolls the balls down the lane missing one.
"Yes, it is very nostalgic," Makoto said with her hands together, blushing like she's in love. Rei gets another ball for the spare and sees Makoto.
"What are you talking about?" Makoto just ignores her. Rei goes back to hit the spare but misses, "That damn pin!" she says in frustration gripping her fist tightly. She is replaced by Usagi and sits down by Ami.
Usagi is about to roll a yellow bowling ball when Ami says, "Don't you guys have finals for college this coming week?"
"Yeah, I've been studying," said Rei.
"WHAT...!?" Usagi accidentally lets the ball slip out of her hands and it rolls down the side of the lane without hitting any of the pins.
"Usagi-chan, what's wrong?" asks Makoto.
"I forgot all about finals!" she whined.
"Typical...," says Rei.
"Help me Rei-chan!" Usagi's on her knees.
"No way, you shouldn't have forgotten!"
"But but-," she is then interrupted by a phone call that Rei gets.
"Oh, it's Rikuto-san!"
"Rikuto?" asked Minako.
"Yeah, the guy I met after you ditched me."
"I didn't ditch you. Geez, just let it go..."
"He's so handsome too," Makoto blushes.
"He must really like you if he called you this early. Yosh! That means I better step up my game!"
"Well, I better go and take this call. See you guys later," Rei got up and left.
"Rei-chan, wait~~!"
