Introduction and Vacation

''Hello my vision of loveliness.'' Smiling I rolled my eyes only imaging the look on his face. '' Come on you and I know you're the best thing that's ever happened to me.'' A pregnant pause follows.

With a sigh I continued. ''You're the most important thing to me and the reason I wake up every morning I only put up with him for your sake as you need him.'' I say after a long pause and then with a massive smirk on my face.

''I will be back in a week just don't have way too much fun and I'll see you when I see you love you sweetie.'' Then I hung up.

Yes if you were wondering who that was, well that's my son Joshua but Josh for short. You see I'm on my way to the airport to catch a flight for my week long vacation alone to south of France. Sorry I forgot to introduce myself to you.

Well my names are Mira, Chae-won, Singh-Brenan . Ah you're probably wondering what sort of name combination that is. You see my Father is of Indian origin and my mother she's of South Korean origin both are mixed race.

My Father being Indian and African whilst mum is Korean and African. Back to me I've got jet black long wavy hair and dark skin, I'm 5.10 inches tall, born and live in England. I've got two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister who happens to live with me.

I work part -time at an insurance company, married with a nine years old son. I got married at the age of nineteen. Nicholas and I were sweet hearts back in our school days and got married as soon as we got admittance into college.

I was a model at the time, started modelling from the age of 14years old.It was more of a part-time obsession then. But when I got married I quit all together, had my son the following year hence I had to stop school also.

After Joshua was born our love life vanished, it became non existent. We couldn't stand the sight of each other, when and where it went wrong still baffles me.

But now we've come to a vivid understanding that our marriage is well and truly over. Let's just say it's seen it's better days. We live under the same roof but more as friends than spouse. He works abroad so he's away working for an oil company in Iraq most times hence we are able to tolerate one another.

I am 29 years old whilst Nicholas is 31 years old. I suspect Nicholas is seeing someone else while away but he has denied it. We live in a six bedrooms detached house with a massive garden a little out in the country. We've got a farm with a few farm animals which I adore.

Joshua goes to a private boarding school in Newcastle down the north east of England, he's allowed home at the weekends.

Even at his young age, Josh is aware myself and his father are in a loveless marriage. Josh once asked us to divorce and go our separate ways when our hatred had become unbearable but we both had refused and told him we will when he's fifteen years old.

It was a decision we made knowing he needs both parents at this moment and time in his life.

Don't get me wrong we never fight or argue, like I said earlier we 'tolerate and put up with each other'. Oh did I mention I've got amazing parents and In-laws? Oh well I do! But we've made sure to act all being well for the past nine years. Nobody except for my little sister and son knows we are at a cross road.

I drive a nice convertible Nicholas got me on my 29th birthday paying almost a whopping hundred grand for it. Yes he gives me everything I want financially, but what I need is love and being wanted.

If only we could go back to what things were like for us years ago when we first met at the school gate. Bringing back memories I wish and hope never to forget.
