That Night

To love means letting go

Mira's Pov

My babies shifted back into their human form and we all proceeded to walk back home. I saw the worry in all their faces and knew what that meant. It meant we had to move again. We've been living in Korea for just under three years.

We all knew there was someone out there looking for me, I didn't know who it was but Amrita said when she went to our home in England to see how things were just last week, there had been a break in. Nothing was stolen but paper work were out of place in the study.

But I already had a plan in motion for our next stop. That would be Rajasthan in India. We could hide there and no one will suspect or expect to find us there in a country of over a billion people.

We all went in and Majnu spoke up first since he was head of security. "Ma'am you do know what this means right? I mean with the Young miss's and young masters shifting so early it's easier for any wolf or supernatural creature looking for them out there to sniff them out"

"Yes ma'am what Majnu said is correct and this only leave us one option and that's to leave Korea. We have been here long enough anyway. We are not privileged to remain in one place for too long". Callum added. I knew they were right and this mean our little pack has to move and fast.

"Ok, I already bought a good enough size home in India. Let's tidy up whatever it is we've got to sort out we leave in three days. So start packing tonight." I said leaving no room for disagreements. I heard a resounding "Yes Ma'am." And we went back to joining the birthday celebrations.

After the party that night I gathered my kids together and told them we were moving once again. At first they weren't too happy complaining about liking the house. So I told them we were moving into a better and bigger mansion and they get so much more. I somehow managed to convince them that I was going to build them their own park within the property.

The next day I spoke to Dae Su that I needed to round things up. When he asked why I said I just needed them done . Not wanting to tell him we were moving and where we were moving to. I knew I was once again going to break his heart and this would be the third time.

Having to leave was making me realise I was close to letting myself go and let Dae Su in. An idea I shouldn't even entertain. I was beginning to fall for him knowing we had no future together. My kids loved him and I could actually see him playing the role of a dad. But no they have their own father.

I will consider moving to the werewolves kingdom if things do not go well in India. And maybe look for their father though I wasn't ready just yet. The day has finally come for us to leave, our stuff have been shipped ahead. So all that was left is my goodbye to Dae Su. He has been of so much help to me, even keeping my being in Korea a secret from my family members out here and his family also.

I pray he finds someone someday hopefully soon who would love him more than he loved the person. Having sent everyone up ahead to the airport, I got in a taxi to Dae Su's home.

"What are you doing here so early in the morning?" He asked. "What's wrong Chae Won ah... ? Is there something you would like to talk about?" He had on only a dressing gown and looked so nice with his messy hair. Come on Mira that's not why you are here. Get your head out of the gutters girl.

I scolded myself. "Dae Su oppa, I'm leaving." He just looked at me I'm sure not understanding what I was on about. "I came to say byes." I was playing with my fingers and biting my lips he made me nervous. Next thing I knew he was on his knees holding onto my waist.

"Kajima, (Don't leave) Kajima, I said don't go damn nation." He cursed and Dae Su never curses in the two decades I've known him. He shook his head to the sides. "Why are you leaving me once again? Why do you do this to me each time? Why do you always have to be the one that says goodbye? Why do I always have to be the one that is left behind?" He cried.
