A prophecy and long live the King !!!

Adrian moved closer to me, we were an hour away from landing. I knew he wanted to talk to me, but I ignored him. Just working on some documents to keep my mind of my mate. "My prince, did his majesty tell you why we had to return to the islands?"

I still hadn't taken my eyes off my work. I was that pissed at myself , but was sure everyone thought it was them. " I mean me and some of the guys were just curious." He said. Well I decided to at least give him something to go by.

"It's the prophecy about the 'chosen ones' well he called to say they have been conceived." He suddenly had a big smile on his face. Everyone has been waiting for the 'chosen ones'. They are meant to be saviour of the supernatural and human world.

"Well, the sacred light flashed in the kingdom of the fairies and werewolves yesterday. But father unfortunately couldn't get a hold of me." I told him, let's just say I haven't seen Adrian this excited and happy since we turned sixteen. Because he jumped up and scream. " Yes about bloody time they came into existence ! " He said, the other guards heard this bearing in mind their enhanced wolf hearing and were just as happy.

If it hadn't been for my emotional state of mind I would have felt and been probably happier than them. As a future king it was only imperative I got excited about this. The ' chosen ones ' will be assets to their kingdom even more so.

So now the search will be on once we got to the islands for the wolf or fairy carrying them. I just hope I've got my work cut out since I still have to look for my mate. I dismissed Adrian and went back to doing some work.

This is my life. Being in charge of over ten million workers around the world and that is ten million families. There was no room for a cock up, because one mistake just doesn't affect one person but rather millions. Hence I have to be careful and I'm quite particular about these things. All of these though have come at a price.

It was a massive groups of companies. I didn't get the status of being the richest man in the world just by messing around and doing nought. I have worked really hard and earned it.

And the responsibilities will only grow once I become king. It was always bound to happen when I meet my mate and mated her. The islands have a million wolves. So that's quite a big responsibility more reason to have my mate with me to share my joys and sorrow, someone I could always lean on.

I was broken out of my train thought by the pilot relaying we were Ten minutes away from landing. Because of my sombre mood, I didn't get to assist as a co-pilot this time around. I some times fly myself since I've got a flying licence. I've been flying since I was sixteen years old . Let's just say there quite a lot of things I can do. While humans would refer to me as a genius or smart, the supernatural world would refer to me as gifted or talented.

And I have quite the amount of degrees to show for it. Other than graduating with a business degree at the young age of fifteen, I got my medical degree at the age of eighteen then there's my law degree by the time I turned twenty. I also have a degree in psychology and some other bits and pieces. So yeah I've had and done it all, everything have NOT been handed over to me on a silver platter.

This whole time while I waited for my mate to show up. Who would have thought she would be human. Now that reminds me that watch I gave to her has a tracking device on it. We should be able to easily find her once we get settled. I could send people to her but would rather go to her myself. So as long as the watch isn't turned off , I should be able to find her.

Once we landed we got in our various cars and headed for the palace. As we drove past tree lines and sky scrapers, it felt nice to see wolves walk and run in the opening. This was the one place where we didn't have to hide what or who we were.
