Joshua's Pov

The flight back was an interesting one, my brothers and sisters were 'running amuck'. And their father seem to be enjoying it.  It was obvious he loved them and most of all he worshipped the ground on which mother walked. As much as I miss my own father and wouldn't want any man to take his place, mother deserves all the happiness life has to offer and more.

She's been sad for far too long, even before father passed on. It's nice to see the twinkle return to her eyes. Something I've only seen on photos of her before she had me.  The only time I see that said twinkle is when she looks at me or my siblings. So yes, I hope George doesn't break her trust and is good to her. And most of all keep this happiness on her face for as long as she lives.

I will make conscious efforts in return to go easy on him. I wasn't going to be selfish and deprive my siblings of a complete functional family. I had that for the first ten years of my life, I enjoyed every perk that came with having a father in my life. Now was their turn to experience it in all it's glory.

Adrian, yes he was another interesting character I wasn't sure just yet whether to befriend or not. We spoke a while about being a royal guard.  And the training that came with it. It was also interesting to know he's been friends with George since they were kids before he had to go off training as a royal guard. He went up in ranks by time he was twenty. Which was unheard of at the time.

When I enquired about school, he said I had the choices to be either privately educated within the palace or go to public school which the nobles, family members of council and elder attended. Or alternatively we were also allowed to attend a school out of the area where we live. Though that barely ever happened. I told him I hoped it wasn't a case of discriminating between the rich and poor.

That made him laugh, saying that was far from the case and that the government only requires kids to attend school nearest to their homes in hope that they can walk the distance and not have to rely on parents for drop offs and pick ups. Well that had better be the case I told him.

I slept the rest of the way on the six hour flight to Rajasthan. We finally arrived and did all the necessary things required before setting off home. 

As we drove into the property, I couldn't help but smell the strange scents of unfamiliar wolves. "Josh it's just some of the royal guards."  He said sensing I had tensed up. I just nodded as they filed out bowing their heads to George and mother. 

Yeon Ok, Geum and San Ho ran inside to do heaven knows what but my JinJoo stuck next to me like a second skin. I wasn't complaining though, it has always been this way since she was a baby.

George introduced them, well good this I had photographic memory. With the number of people I was being introduced to. That is something we all share, even my late father had it as well.

Walking in,miss Karen ran over. She had been in the kitchen cooking. "Young master Joshua."  She screamed hugging me deathly tight, good thing I was stronger than her, else she would have broken my bones. "It's good to finally have you home after over three months."  She said as I kissed both her cheeks. She blushed which only had me laughing and enjoying 'taking the mickey out' of her.

"Wow is miss Karen blushing?"  I said loving the crimson red she's turned. She looked away wanting to walk off but I held her close smelling her hair. I've always liked the smell of whatever hair product it was she used. "I've missed you miss Karen, how've you been?" I asked her with all seriousness.

She's been there for my family and I for almost five years now. And not once has she betrayed our trust or hurt us. She has wholeheartedly been there without asking for anything in return. Even though mother wants us to keep everything formal, we all saw miss Karen as an aunt rather than a staff.
