Laurent's Pov

I have been out of it for far too long since the disappearance of Amrita, I am either being sedated or restrained. Mother and Father are the only people who could at least try calming me down. I have thought about all the 'what ifs' tried imaging an alternate world and scenarios where I had my mate with me. Our bond is now almost non existent, as the days turned a moth my wolf is coming to resign his fate that his mate is gone forever. I haven't given up though, I believe she's out there somewhere waiting to be found and reunited with her family.

Unlike other days, today didn't seem as painful or a struggle to get out of bed. I crawled my way to the bathroom to have a relaxing bath not really wanting anyone to assist me. Heck I've become a nuisance in the last month. By the time this is all over my male pride would have taken a proper lashing. With Hye Sun by my side it will be well worth it.

I was about to climb into the bath after running it when I doubled over in excruciating pain to my lower region. Not knowing what was wrong I growled gaining the attention of the servants waiting outside my room. They immediately rushed in and so did my parents.

I couldn't really hear what they were saying due to my insides feeling like they were being set alight. I saw people running 'Helter Skelter' around me in blurs. The physicians were summoned and after several investigations it was said that my mate had mated someone else hence the pain.

It hurt to know that while I was here going through not knowing her where about she has met her second mate and had mated with him. Not even caring about me who had been with her from the start. Amrita had given her virginity to the other. Something that should have been mine to take.

Now questioning myself for even bothering to save it for my mate or respecting her wish to remain unclaimed until she met the other. I felt stupid and used, so did my wolf who was now on the edge of going feral. Scaring the shit out of my parents and those around me. When a wolf goes feral, they are usually put down meaning killed since they become dangerous. A feral wolf is a walking time bomb.

The physicians immediately sedated me and as I fell asleep I thought of Amrita and all the things I had hoped for with regards to our future. Being the prideful woman she is, she wouldn't want me anymore. She had once told me when she gives up her innocence, it would mean forever and there will be no turning back. I wished with everything in me that as I fall into darkness, I never get to wake up again.

I woke up to the blaring sound of war cry much later feeling like I have slept for years, my wolf wasn't on edge but rather too calm I might add.  "What is going on?" I bellowed out to no one in particular. A servant immediately rushed into my room. I could see he was trying really hard to keep himself composed. The crease of his forehead was sweaty. And he looked on cautiously.

"My...lo...lord, It ...it ...it's the w...wa...war cry." He stuttered. So I corked my head to the side as if to say go on. "His majesty has just left for the Vampire kingdom to rescue her majesty the queen."  I jumped off my bed stumbling a little. So George finally ran out of patience? I should be out there assisting them. I wondered how long they've been gone for.

"When did they set off and who went with him?"  Walking towards my bathroom at the same time listening for a reply. I hope the kids didn't have to go with him. They are far too young to be in the middle of a bloody war.

"The royal guards, five Alphas out of the ten went with him and so did the princesses and princes. The previous king was to remain and take care of the kingdom should something happen to his majesty. Twenty fairies led by prince Joshua went with them." He took a deep breath and continued rambling.
