What? What is she talking about?

I feel lost. But I'm also starting to think of something... something I'm very scared about.

"Marcus." Lazarus uttered coldly.

My eyes darted on that person and it immediately widened when I realized that the built of his body is familiar. Nakatalikod siya sa liwanag that's why I can only see his silhouette. But then I remembered what Lazarus just uttered.

"Sir M-marcus?" Nanginginig kong saad.

Agad namang umalingawngaw ang tawa ni Zeiram sa buong kwarto.

"I guess you haven't introduced yourself yet, Marcus."

The footsteps went closer. "There's no need, she probably knows who I am by now. Am I right, Kelssey?"

I felt my whole body tremble. Our new professor, si Sir Marcus... he's involved with this? Bakit?

It felt so confusing, I don't know who to trust anymore. Sino ba ang kalaban? Sino ba ang hindi?

At bakit gusto nila akong patayin?

"W-why..." iyon nalang ang tangi kong nagawang sambitin. I don't know how to say what's on my mind dahil sa sobrang dami nila at gulo.

"Marcus, this is not a good idea. You need to know something first." Lazarus interfered at agad akong napatingin sa kanya.

Sir Marcus laughed. "The only thing I won't regret doing is kill this brat... and probably you too." He smirked. "That's what you two deserve after killing my sister."

My mouth parted, pakiramdam ko ay hindi na gumagana ang utak ko. We... Lazarus and I... killed someone?

"Marcus, Lazarus didn't kill Marian." Cire counter which knocked some sense off me.

Si Marian. Siya ang tinukoy nilang pinatay. Pero paanong... paanong ako?

I didn't even know she's dead until weeks ago. Kaya, paano?

Zeiram chuckled. "But he's the reason, right, Marcus? Kung hindi sana inaway ni Lazarus si Marian no'ng gabing iyon, edi sana hindi siya umalis at hindi siya napatay ng babaeng 'to." She then looked at me and smiled. "You're the one who killed her, Kelssey."

Umiling ako. Tears streamed down my face dahil hindi ko talaga alam ang sinasabi nila.

"I... I didn't kill her." I mumbled.
