Chapter 23 Egeus

"I think that's done! " I said as the curtain fell. The lights turned on again and yeah, it's done.

Theseus gave me a weird look and said, "Seriously Duke. You have to commentate on what happens next. "

Now it was my turn to give him a weird look. Whaaaat? Duke?
"Since when did I become a duke?"
"Maybe when I appointed you to be my adviser?"
"Um."
"The adviser to the King is the Duke of Athens."

I gave him a weird look, like this O_o. I felt a hand on my shoulder and Theseus told me, "I should've told you earlier. You are the second to the king. My adviser."
"What?"
"Whatever, I'll explain it to you later, " Theseus said as we made our way out of the theater.

A guy ran up to us as we went out. Will said,"There will be a feast and a dance in honor of the Queen. Care to join us?"
"Alright but can I just. You know, be in the orchestra? I'm very bad at dancing."

"Okay, um I don't know." Will stuttered, "Ahh-,"
"Nah it's okay, I'll just stay at the side."
"Sorry about that but I don't think they can have other people in the orchestras."
"Eh, it's okay"

He made his way back to the Queen and whispered something to her. The Queen looked excited after he whispered that. I tried to read his mind. <Do you want to meet some Greeks?> AWW COME ON!!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY!We have an appointment with the queen tomorrow. That is very not good.

My flow of thought was interrupted by a spark on my chest, and my mate mark which was burning again. I tilted my head a little bit down and I saw that Atalanta had her hand on my chest.

"I'll teach you how to dance," she purred. My eyes glimmered into one of a lion's, then back to my black human eyes. "Seriously, you had to do that!" I said weirdly. She chuckled and said, "Of course, I did. "

She ran her finger down my chest and I growled softly in pleasure. She led me to the dance floor and I observed the people around me. They were dancing the waltz.

She took my hand and soon we were gliding over the dance floor. "How did you learn to dance like this?" I asked her.

"Well my father used to play with me and we used to dance when I was a child. "

"Ahh," I said. And I let the music take us away. I wasn't really a dancer. I was a musician. This was the first time I danced, and with my mate, it was the best time of my life.

When we finished dancing, Will went up to us. "Can I take you to the queen tomorrow?"
"Yeah," I replied,"But we're going the day after that okay?"
"Okay!" He chuckled.

And we went back to the inn to sleep. It's gonna be a very tiring day tomorrow!
