Chapter 4 Hermia

I was surprised. But anyway, he's there all right, he's not dead. I hugged him right away while I shouted "Dad!" I was crying so hard and I was saying "Sorry" almost like a hundred times while I held on his fur. Fur? Before I could think about what happened to him I felt him vibrating. Wow, wait. Was he purring? Obviously, he 's a lion.
"Dad, I' m so sorry about what I said"
"It's okay kòrī, (a/n daughter in Greek) I forgave you the time you said it. But, you said you never wanted to see me again so I had to go and be like this."
"Dad, I never meant it. I was just so mad at you."
"It's all right. I'm sorry too, for what I did. I 've been watching you two. You turn out just fine."
"Dad, what happened to you?"
"I was so sad and I occured to me I had to punish myself. Remember the ten wishes that my father gave me?"
"I used one of the wishes to put a curse on myself. I'm immortal, so I was planning to be like this for the rest of eternity, thonly turning to human form with some lion characteristics at the full moon. I have nine wishes left though."
"Dad, you don't have to do this. Turn back, undo the wish! Use another of the wishes!"
Dad nodded, and he roared to the heavens. His fur began to disappear and he was beginning to look like a human. Some minutes later, I saw my father in front of me, but he looked,younger. He had black hair, and a beard that wasn't too long. And he looked like he was twenty five years old. he wore a linen cloth around his waist which reached until his knees, with a belt securing it, pretty much what Lysander was wearing, but with a circlet of a king, and a golden staff, with a purple cape on his shoulders, and golden bracers on his wrists. He look like a king, except he was wearing nothing on his chest. I said "Seriously dad?" Theseus said "Hey, he's king of the Therianthropes, so don't judge him."
I was like "Ohhh. Wait what?" Dad said "People who can turn into animals." I was like "Whatever. I'm hungry" Everybody laughed while we followed Dad into his cave.
Dad snapped his fingers and the cave became a giant palace. I was like "Whoa" and he chuckled, saying "Hey, just one of my powers. Empathy, illusion, invisibility, controlling time, controlling the four elements, controlling the weather, controlling light and darkness, time portals, teleporting, reading minds......" I stopped him, I said laughing "Whoa, dad here we go again!" Everybody laughed. We had venison for breakfast, and after that we had leisure time. As for me, I talked with my father.
Me: Dad, I have a lot of questions to ask.
Dad: Well then, say them.
Me: Why did you want me to marry Demetrius?
Dad: Well, it's kind of hard to explain....
Me: DAAAD!!!!
Dad: Okay okay. Remember when I told you I was a werelion?
Me: Yes, that was like a while ago.
Dad: That's not the whole story. The legendary werelion other than human was my base form because I was born to be the King of Therians but as king, I can turn into any animal, both legendary form and normal. I can even turn into what you consider "mythical creatures." I fell in love with a werewolf, and out of the bond of marriage, she bore you. Her name was Atalanta. I just found your basket at my doorstep with a note that says who your mother was. I'm going to say it to you now. Hermia, you're a Legendary Werewolf. You can turn into and oversized wolf or a Two
legged wolf at will.
Me: Seriously? OH MY G!!!
Dad: By the way, you're 18, right?
Me: Nineteen. Twenty this year next month
Dad: Well, you'll be experiencing your first shift on your birthday. A day before, go here. You'll be initiated into the Athens Pack.
Me: Okay. But why did you want Demetrius for me?
Dad: Because he is a werewolf!
Me:(Gasp)
Dad: Yes he is. He represents the werewolves in the Therian Council. I represent the Lions, of course, and I'm king so yeah. Anyway, he is the strongest werewolf and he's called the "Grim Reaper ." I myself, am called the "Golden Death" we were great friends and he asked for your hand in marriage. Even though he looks like he's twenty, he's over 500 years old.
Me: Wow old
Dad: (smiling) Don't tell Helena. I myself am over a thousand years old.
Me: Okay whatever. Then what.
Dad: I was so surprised when you said you loved Lysander. I tried to convince you out of it so I saw the only way to convince you is by threatening you by the Athenian Law. I wasn't at all surprised when Demetrius said he loved Helena because I knew supernaturals were at work.
Me: Uh what?
Dad: Remember when Lysander said he didn't love you and he loved Helena?
Me: Jeez! How'd you know that?
Dad: (Laughs)
Me: Yeah right. Okay!!!!
Dad: You know the love-in-idleness?
Me: Yeah, the love flower?
Dad: Oberon told me he used it on Demetrius. Oberon's my council mate at the Supernatural High Council. King of the Fairies. So anyway he just told me about two weeks ago and I was laughing when I heard the story.
Me: Daaaaad.
Dad:So now you know.
Me: Okay thanks dad bye dad love you
Dad: Love you too bye!

We went back to Athens, but every day, me, Lysander, Demetrius, Helena, Theseus, Hippolyta,and Philostrate come and visit Dad.
