Chapter 28 Egeus

I ran back to the pack house and waited for the queen's entourage. I forwarded the info again through the pack link, or through their dreams.

Pretty soon, the carriage stopped in front of me. I led them to a Elizabethan themed super big guest house beside the pack house.
The Queen went out and looked at me, and then the guest house. "Thank you for your hospitality."
"You are welcome." I replied.

Will and the guards went in too, and I gave Will a I-am-going-to-kill-you-tomorrow look before he went in. He just dashed in like "ok fine!"

As for me, I shifted again into my lion form and went into the pack house. Atalanta was waiting for me in the living room, which was just in front of the entrance.

I pinned her on the ground with her laughing and me purring. "You always do this to me!" she laughed, ruffling my mane. Well, she was under me, and looking at me with those big brown eyes. I telepathically slammed the door shut and locked it.

<Not this.> I said to her through the mind link. I shifted back to my human form with her still pinned to the ground. "There's always a first time," I playfully said and she gave me a lingering kiss on the lips.

I un-pinned her and we both sat on the couch. "So, how did it go?" she asked me. "Well," I said,annoyed,"Apparently Mr. Shakey's brought Queeny into the Greek Era."
"How?" She asked, shocked.
"He said the Queen ordered him to go to Athens because she was a bit entranced by the Greeks. Another problem for Theseus."

"Well it's okay, what is done, is done! " she said, unconsciously mimicking my words to Shakespeare when we had our little talk. I looked at her weirdly, like the "How the heck did you steal those words out of my mouth?" way.

"Well thank you very much!" I jokingly said in a formal tone. She chuckled and laid her head on my shoulder. I was thinking on how to welcome the queen later because I saw the guard still emptying the carriage of all the Queen's things into the guest house.

My flow of thought was interrupted with me getting slammed onto the couch by my mate. "Um ow?" I said, still looking at the window, watching the soldiers. I looked up to see Atalanta's brown eyes staring back at me.

"Atalanta, not now, not now. Twenty more minutes and they would have settled down," I said with a cracking voice. I sat up, still watching the guards. "Well then, at least give them a formal welcome.

She walked behind the couch and put her chin on top of my head and wrapped her arms around my neck. "I just want them to leave tomorrow." I said, deep in thought. "Don't worry. We just met with the queen and left soon after. Maybe she will do the same," she comforted.

"Oh, they're done!" I exclaimed. "I'll meet you upstairs in twenty minutes, gorgeous." I added. She smiled back, and I showed her my mating mark that was glowing purple, and she smiled mischievously and mouthed an "Oh,"

I went out of the pack house in my formal garments, and walked to the guest house. "I formally welcome you to Athens, City of Athena. " I said to the Queen. She smiled back and I led her to her room.

I also showed the guards the rooms they were to be sleeping in, and I led Will to the room he was sleeping in and I whispered to him, "Tomorrow you're leaving!" He chuckled, "Of course I told the Queen. After a talk with Theseus we are going to be leaving early tomorrow. "

"Okay. Goodnight." I said, then went out of the guest house, into the pack house, up the stairs, and bumped into Hermia along the way. "Whoa! You still awake?" I asked, surprised. "Yeah. Queen's here?" she asked.

"Yup. Remember, I forwarded to you the info right?"
"Yup."

I bid her goodnight, and when I started to walk past her and she started to walk to her and Lysander's bedroom, I noticed something glowing on her neck.

"Hermia.. Is that a..." I stuttered, shocked. "Yup." She said.
"Congratulations, you two are fully mated!" "I'm proud of you kiddo!" I said while I hugged her. "Thanks Dad." she said, then went back to her bedroom after shout-whispering a goodnight after me. I chuckled and went into our room,getting a well deserved rest with my mate.
