- Eddie POV -
I looked down at the pleading girl who sat still curled up on the couch, her eyes glistening in the lamp light as she begged me to stay, the girl who 4 hours earlier refused to even talk to me now wanted me to stay with her. "The things you do to me, Baker." I thought, feeling pushed and pulled by this girl I just couldn't stay away from, of course I was going to fucking stay, it wasn't even really a question. I nodded and smiled, which made her face light up brighter than I'd ever seen before, I sat back on the couch with her as she crawled into my lap, burying her head into my chest again. I didn't know why, but something inside me told me that she needed to be in my arms all the time, and I was okay with that, "Eddie..." she whispered, looking up into my eyes, I looked down at her, stroking her cheek with my thumb. "I- I'd like to, to do that thing again, please?" she asked, nibbling at the skin on her lower lip, it was like she didn't really know anything about kissing, but she knew she liked it and was certain she wanted to do it again. I couldn't help but chuckle at her request, I found it adorable that she asked as though she didn't know what it was. Nodding slowly, I leaned in and placed another delicate kiss on her lips. She seemed more relaxed this time, I guess the lights and the thought of our first kiss made her tense, she was almost less taken by surprise this time, even going as far as deepening the kiss.

I placed my hand on her knee and slowly guided her leg over my lap, allowing her to straddle me as I moved to wrap my arms around her body and pull her in closer. She wrapped her arms around my neck, furrowing her brows as she felt my tongue grazing her lower lip, my mouth dropping open lightly. After a short hesitation, she followed suit and lightly opened her mouth suddenly feeling my tongue delicately glide against hers, causing me to let out a quiet moan against her lips. "Sorry!" she gasped as she broke apart the kiss, "Did I hurt you?!" she asked, scanning my face for injury or discomfort, i couldn't stop myself as I chuckled, looking confused at her. "What? No. I- It was nice. Sorry, I guess I'm a little vocal when I'm enjoying myself." I chuckled, feeling a little embarrassed by my confession. "How sheltered was this girl? Oh god, am I her first kiss?" I thought, "I- uh, I mean, yeah, duh! Of course it was nice!" she chuckled nervously as though she heard what I'd thought. "I'm probably just tired or something!" she blurted as she climbed off my lap onto the couch, like she was covering for her embarrassment and cluelessness.

"You, maybe, wanna stay here?" she naïvely asked, catching me completely off guard and rendering my face blush coated and stunned, "Like, here? In- in her room?" I thought, trying to internally clarify exactly what she meant by her invitation. She giggled at me, sensing my nervousness, "Eddie, it's okay. I just like being around you... your arms are kinda, cosy." she sighed as her voice turned to a shy hush toward the end, she tried to cover her growing blush with the sleeves of her robe. A coy grin spread across my face at the compliment which I poorly hid behind my mess of curly brown hair, "I- I'd like that." I said softly, taking her hand from her face and holding it in mine. She stood up from the couch keeping her hand in mine as I stood to join her allowing myself to be guided through the darkened hall toward the rear of the trailer where her bedroom sat.

Crossing the threshold of the room I had only ever imagined, the room I'd previously considered to be forbidden territory after my repeated failed interactions with her, I was in awe of the safe haven she had created for herself. The room was decorated with posters of movies and musicians, many the same as what hung on my own walls, the room was neat and well kept, unlike mine, with the only thing out of place being the thrown bedding on the bed from her earlier disturbance by me. A beautiful acoustic guitar sat in the corner of the room, adorned with stickers and playful doodles in marker pen and paint, an obviously well cared for and treasured possession. Pride of place on her dresser was a record player attached to two fucking huge speakers, a shelf dedicated to vinyl records and cassettes stood proudly on display next to it.
