The Day After Thanksgiving

"Y'all ready to go or not?" I asked my cousins, we was waiting on everybody so we can go Black Friday shopping.

My family has a tradition where we have a thanksgiving after party. Everybody still partying, but we leaving to go shopping.

"We waiting on Mani" my cousin informed me before I sighed and rolled my eyes

"Damn, we been waiting for twenty minutes" I said before I felt a hand slide down my shirt

I looked up to see it was Daejah, she ain't had no business doing that in front of everybody.

"I'm finna go mama" she said leaning down and kissing me "I'll see you whenever I get off""

"Okay, I love you"

"I love you too" she replied before walking away and I just watched

She going back to work so that she can do overtime.

"Y'all some damn freaks" Brianna said out of nowhere before my mouth dropped and I laughed

"No dead ass, you ain't even react to her reaching in your shirt" Miracle chimed in laughing "Freak asses, you used to that shit"

And is.

"Worry about y'all" I said calmly as Mani came walking in out of breathe

What the fuck was she doing?

"Alright y'all I'm ready" she said before we all got up and followed each other out the house

It was a good bit of us, so we was carpooling. I drove my car because when I'm ready to go I'm leaving.

We decided that we was just gonna go to the mall, which was good cause I had a return to make.

"This why you don't take black folks nowhere" KO said as he shook his head watching my other cousins run around the mall

"Y'all need to chill, for real. How old are we?" I asked one my cousins who had tripped up and fell

I laughed a little because he tripped over literal air

"I'm grown as fuck" he answered while getting up off the floor "let's go to the jewelry store over here"
