"I want the same thing as you, and I wanna travel the world too" Ray said while making eye contact with me before smiling
It's 11:37PM and we're just sitting and talking in the car. Neither one of us could sleep, so we went on a late night drive.
We ended up stopping in a empty Target park lot.
"Oh yeah, I wanna travel too but those are my main goals for five years from now"
"You wanna be retired five years from now, for real?" She asked kind of shocked, I guess because people typically retire in their late fifties.
I'm not doing that.
"Yeah, I wanna be done, but I still want my businesses to be running" I said and she nodded her head
"We definitely gone make that happen, but listen, we turning up for your birthday" she changed the subject getting excited
"What did you plan?" I asked kind of nervous "just give me a hint"
"No, but just know you finna have the time of your life" she just kept smiling and it made me more eager "I'm so fucking excited"
"I don't wanna talk about it cause you won't tell me" she started laughing as I frowned a little
"okay, what time you want me to drop you off home in the morning?"
"I don't wanna go home"
"You got shit to do princess, I'll come get you when you done" she said and I was just stuck smiling at her "what?"
"nothing" I said still in shock at the fact she called me 'princess'. She know what she's doing and it's definitely working.
It was just quiet for a few seconds before she leaned in and ours lips met. She make me want to do something to her, I'm in love.
"You ready to go, you tired yet?" I nodded my head before she put the car in drive and pulled off
We made it back to her apartment and got straight in the bed. I was more tired than I thought because I went straight to sleep.
The next morning I woke up to an empty bed. I didn't see Ray nor was I gonna go look for her. If she was leaving she would've told me.
I got up and brushed my teeth and washed my face. We've been alternating between each others place so much, we have toiletries already over.
After I finished up in the bathroom I made my way to the living room seeing Ray. She was laid across the couch watching something and laughing.
"Goodmorning, you rolled out the bed looking so — damn" she looked me up and down before licking her lips and biting down on it
I literally rolled out the bed and brushed my teeth and washed my face.
"Thank you and goodmorning" I said slightly chuckling as she sat up on the couch
"I was waiting for you to get up, so I ain't eat yet. Let me take you out for breakfast before I drop you off" she said now pausing whatever it is that was on the tv
"You love spending money on me, but we can go eat" I said causing her to start laughing
"I'm a giver and you know that", she wasn't lying because she would give me the shirt off her back if I didn't have one
"Where are we eating?"
"That's up to you, it's your world and I'm just living in it. Whatever you decide I'm cool with"

"Aight that's fine"
I went to go pack up and get dressed before coming back. We left and made our way to Keke's breakfast . After a hour and a half passing by we left going to my place.
"Aight, you good?" Ray asked causing me to nod my head, but I was inattentive a little "Okay I'm finna go then , call me"
"Alright" I said not making eye contact with her. I'm trying to set everything up and get settle to start working
"I'm serious, Ja'Nae. Call me whenever you get the chance" I stopped and looked at her before laughing a little
She was holding a serious look on her face.
"I promise I'm paying attention"
"I'm just making sure you heard me, you know when it's time to work you zone out"
"I haven't zoned out completely" I confirmed with a slight chuckle
She ended up leaving before I begin to do what I needed to do. I love being able to run my own business, it's therapeutic.
