"These pictures probably blurry as fuck" I said taking my phone from Ray before she licked her lips and laughed
"Nah I'm a certified photographer" she said smiling causing me to smile too. I don't know what it is about her, but she send chills down my back.
"You a photographer for real?"
"No" I sucked my teeth before she started laughing "but I ain't fuck up your pictures"
It's been two and a half weeks since we met and we've been talking every day since then. I learned a lot about her in the matter of two weeks. Today, she wanted to go out and chill.
I hesitated at first because it's too soon, but eventually said yes.
We sat down on a bench before going through the pictures and they all turned out cute. It made it hard to choose what I was gonna post.
She know how to take pictures.
After being indecisive, I finally chose a picture and posted it on Instagram.

"Let's try this bakery" I said pointing across the street at a bakery. We made our way across the street and she opened the door for me before we went in
"What you getting?" Ray asked before I shrugged while looking at the menu. I love cakes and pies.
"I'm thinking about strawberry cheesecake or pound cake. What would you get?"
"Cheese cake" she answered before I sighed looking up at her. She is tall as hell and I'm 4'11 "You indecisive as fuck, noted"
"Both of them are good"
"Get both" she said causing me to shake my head 'no' "Yes, what you drinking?"
"Water"
"Excuse me, can I get two strawberry cheesecakes, two pound cakes, and two waters?" she said to the worker and my mouth dropped
"Ray no it's o —"
"I got it and I'm paying" she said smiling before walking over to the cash register ready to pay "You good"
"Thank you"
"Of course" she said before the lady came over and put everything in a bag
After she paid we left out and decided to sit at the tables they had outside. It's not hot or cold today, it's just right.
"So talk to me, what you got planned for this week?" She asked handing me my water before I took it
"I have to pack orders, I'm meeting with somebody about my skin care line, and my friends want me to go out with them. Everything else will happen naturally"
"Okay okay, I see you big boss. You hard working and I love that"
"Thank you, I definitely be trying for real. What you got planned?" I asked before putting a piece of cheesecake in my mouth
"Tuesday I'm flying out to see family, so ima be there the whole week" I nodded my head insinuating that I was listening "Yeah, but you decided the movie or bowling?"
"Bowling"
"I'm finna whoop yo' ass at bowling" she said and I laughed a little. She has a strong southern accent, I just love how words flow off her tongue.
"You might cause I haven't played in a while, but don't get too happy"
"We gone see later on"
"Whatever, but I never asked you why you put your number on my receipt. So why did you?" I asked waiting for an answer and she immediately smiled showing her teeth
"What you mean?"
"You put your number on the receipt for a reason. What's the real reason you put it on there?"
When we first started talking she said she wanted to be friends. I know that's a lie.
"Cause I had a whole three hour conversation with you while I tatted you, I wanna get to know you more" she responded before I raised a eyebrow and she laughed
"Get to know me more as in?" I questioned digging deeper because I need to make sure I'm not crazy.
She wanna be more than friends.
"Cause I want you"
"Okay" I said while nodding at the same time, she was just looking at me before I laughed "What?"
"I'm just looking"
"I'm straight" I simply said and she started laughing
"I wouldn't have messaged you on Instagram if you was straight. The flag in your bio"
"How you find me on there anyway?"
"Connections" she said before I started thinking and it finally clicked
"Damien gave it to you, I know he did" she nodded while laughing and slouching down slightly
"Y'all cool?"
"He's the only one who do my tattoos, so we follow each other. He was booked up that day, so I had to book with you"
"oh okay that make sense"
"and I was confused as to who you were because I've never saw or heard of you there" I explained further "especially because I know all the workers in there"
"yeah I had to relocate cause they finna rebuild where I was before"
"On a serious note, I just got out of a relationship literally a month ago and some change. So I'm in recover mode"
"I'm not in no rush of course, but I wanna let it be known that I want you"
A wave went over my head after she said that and for some reason all I could do is stare. She just give me a different type of vibe I never felt before.
