"You shopping for house stuff like you just moved in" Lamari'A said as she ate some cookies she had opened up
She keep opening stuff in the store and eating it. I don't know where she get that from, but that's slack.
"Cause I want new decor, damn. Is that okay with you?" I asked and she just shrugged her shoulders "and please don't open nothing else in here"
"You scared?"
"No, you just need to stop acting like you didn't eat today" she started laughing as i slightly pushed her to the side to grab a pink soap dispenser
Fancy.
"It's four in the afternoon and the last time I ate was at ten. You keep acting like you can't stop to Zaxby's or something"
I didn't respond to her because it was no point.
Looking around some more I picked up kitchen rags, silverware, pans, and a few other things. When I go in any store, I get lost and start picking up stuff.
Stuff I don't need.
Eventually we left and I dropped Lamari'A back off home. I don't know if it was because she was complaining so much, but I was annoyed with her.
"She's gonna get left" I said to Kennedi and Ciani before finally seeing Yanna coming out the house
"Don't do our baby momma like that, you ain't got no patience"
"Cause y'all be so last minute with stuff and don't be ready. No clothes on"
"Nae we only going to your house, we don't need no presentable clothes" Kennedi said before I waved her off as Yanna opened the door and got in
"Y'all always watching somebody location, damn. Wouldn't of known I was on this side"
"She must be hungry", I heard Yanna say as I pulled off and I laughed on the inside "Lil nasty attitude"
We finally made it to my house before going in.
"Bitch, I know you fucking lying" Ciani said in shock before I gave her a confused look
Everybody else was confused too.
"What?" Ken asked and Ciani started laughing
"Ja'Nae who shoes are those?" Ciani asked pointing at Ray shoes before everybody looked and my heart dropped
I forgot to take her shoes in my room.
"My dad's"
"Those are —" she got up and picked them up before looking at them and putting them back down "Balenciagas"
"Be for real, who shoes?" Ken asked and I debated on if I should tell them about Ray
"You fucking with somebody?" Yanna asked excited causing Ciani to look at her crazy
"No, I just got a friend and she's always over here" I said being truthful before a huge smile plastered over my face
Fuck.
"I know that smile so you lying" Yanna asked getting more excited "when did y'all meet?"
"Literally after the break up"
"So you just moving on quick as hell not healed?" Kennedi asked and I started to feel irritated by the conversation
"I didn't — no, I don't even know why I'm telling y'all asses" I said and they looked shocked by it
"Because we tell each other everything and here you are keeping secrets for three going on four months" Ciani said and I shrugged my shoulders
"Can we just watch the movie?"
"Nae thats fucked up" Kennedi chimed in but I ignored her because I didn't care
They're looking at the situation wrong and I'm not gonna clear it up right now.
Should I have told them sooner?
It's not like we're together, so it wasn't anything to tell. I don't know what we are — friends.
We continued to watch the movie and eventually it ended. They wanted to leave so I ended up taking them back.
If they want to be mad that's fine with me.
"I'm not necessarily keeping you a secret, but I knew how they'd react if I told them about you"
"That's nothing to get worked up about, I do wanna meet your friends though, Princess" Ray said through the phone before I gave her a look

"You wanna meet them?"
"I just wanna see who you surround yourself with. Nothing extra"
"Maybe" I simply replied before letting out a sigh, "do you think I was wrong for not telling them sooner?"
"No, it ain't that deep. You grown"
"For some reason, I just kind of feel like I'm in the wrong. We tell each other everything, literally"
"I understand that, but you gotta realize that you grown. Everybody don't have to know everything right away"
"Yeah, you're right"
"But ima talk to you later, my break over" she said before I just nodded my head
We hung up before I just sat there in my deep thoughts. Ray is right.
I don't want them to think I'm a bad friend. If they can't understand that I don't have to tell them shit right away.
I just feel obligated or guilty if I don't tell them.
