It's my birthday and I'm 20.
Ray made reservations for dinner at this beautiful restaurant. They are so fancy and by looking around I'm sure this restaurant is five stars.
They are expensive as hell too.
I didn't know she was taking me out for dinner, it was so unexpected. When she told me to dress up and be ready by seven, I just did as I was told.
I'm just sitting at the table waiting for Ray to come back inside. She said she left her wallet in the car, which is no surprise.
She's always forgetting or losing something. I don't see how she can keep up with herself.
Out of nowhere the people who worked here began to sing happy birthday to me. They started to crowd around me before I saw a man coming over with a cake.
Behind him was Ray, she had roses in her hand along with a small box. My heart immediately dropped and my eyes became watery.
I have no idea what I've done to deserve this.
The man sat the cake on the table before moving and giving Ray space. She made her way over to me and I stood up before she handed me the flowers.
"Thank you" I thanked her before a tear slipped down my face. She wiped it away and pulled me into a hug.
Eventually they were done singing and walked away. We sat down and my heart was just racing.
"Open the box, princess" she said handing me the Pandora box, I can tell she was excited for me to open it.
I slowly opened it revealing a charm bracelet with a lot of charms on it. It was so pretty and shiny.
"Oh my god this is so fucking pretty" I said while taking it out of the box, "Thank you, Ray"
"Of course, you know I had to get you a little something. This just the beginning of your birthday baby. Look in the bottom of the box"
I took the foam from out the box seeing a paper. Taking the paper out, I glanced at Ray to see she was smirking. Once I unfolded it and noticed what it was my mouth dropped.
It was a plane ticket to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
"Raynesha", that was all I could manage to get out at first "Are you serious?"
