Chase's POV
Yes! I got a good score! I hope that I get through to the next round.
I watched Jess, Jai and Kye drift around the circuit. They all did a great job and all got good scores.
Janis walked up to me and smiled.
"Hey, you did a great job there!!" -Janis
"Thanks so much, I f*cked up at first though.." -Chase
"It doesn't matter, at least ya got a good score!! I doubt that I'll get through to the next round. I get nervous a lot when I'm out drifting." -Janis
"Same here! Good luck with your turn. If you get nervous, shake it off and give it what ya got. " -Chase
"Ah thank you!" -Janis
Janis' POV
I smiled back at Chase while buckling up my new TAKATA belts.
I stayed calm, and entered the track when the green light went on. First corner, I did a backwards drift entry. Perfect!
Next corner, I tried to drop the clutch down, but it won't budge. I failed miserably. Maybe after this I'll use my hand brake when I slide.
I found that using the hand brake was a little easier, and got the drift entries perfectly.
Chase's POV
Holy sh*t.. That backwards drift entry!! She did great!
I love her technique...
Janis' POV
My score wasn't bad :o
